Thank you, I have been saving up for them and they are close to looking like the original in my eyes. My originals have a little peeling going on. ------------------ |

Very nice. Close to the stock . But different enough. No more worrying about caps or peeling. Enjoy your new boots. Robin |

What make are they Theresa? And hows your sticky wheel repair from a few months back, holding up? |

No sticky wheel at all, and these wheels are American Racing. Thanks for asking. ------------------ |

Congratulations. I like them. What size are the rims? |

The sizes are just like the original, 20 in the back and 17 in the front. I used my same tires. I'm going to take out that pesky low tire light from the dash. ------------------ |

quote: He stated "these wheels are American Racing". Way back it was reported on this forum that the stock Prowler wheels were also made by American Racing. Just a word of caution it was also reported that the Prowler wheels were not the only wheels made by AR that experienced peeling issues. Now that was back around 2000 or so and they may have resolved those issues with their newer wheels. This message has been edited by BeWare on 08-20-2014 at 10:55 AM |

A local owner (I recently met) has the American wheels like yours on his Prowler. They look nice. He wanted Foose wheels and called Foose about getting a set but was told they don't have any that will fit the application. I told him that whoever he spoke to probably had no clue. It is a shame when someone that specializes in custom wheels has someone answering the phone that is incompetent like that. I have seen Foose wheels on many Prowlers and they do look nice. |

The salesman actually tried to talk me in to removing my fenders to put bigger rims on the front. I really like my fenders so that wasn't an option, but some cars look good without them. ------------------ |
