Steve, Looks easy, But here in California, we have a weird end on the nozzle that must be depressed in the filler hole to pump gas |

The other night I had a problem filling up the 97. I turned the nozzle to the right and then tried it upside down. The gas burped out all over the side of the car and then it filled just fine in the normal position. I guess there was an air pocket. I was shocked it then worked correctly. |

I did the so called fixed on my 99 and it still a pain to fill! Last fill I was filling very slow and a guy started to talk to me next thing he said was your gas is spilling all out. Was pumping so slow handle did not shut off in my hand. Next time I won`t talk to anyone until I done! |

Ed, Had the same thing happen to me at the pump except it did not want to start afterwards...loosened the cap and put it back on and then started...go figure?? However, I have had it die on me twice now just like it ran out of gas, though, after turning it off and then back on it started...kind of leary about traveling too far... |
