Hello - I was driving my Kat today (2002 Inca Gold w/16,234 miles) and my gage showed a system failure in which all of my gages did not respond e.g. gas, temperature, volts, etc. and my air did not respond as well. What do you think is the problem b/c my first response was to check the fuse box but all was good.

I see 'NO BUS' in the readout. Communication stopped between the computers. Did the problem go away on the next restart? Could be just a glitch which can be reset by disconnecting the battery. Check the connection at the PCM.

Search 'No Bus' for more info. Here's one from 2002. http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/Forum2/HTML/000509.html

Hello - yes, by restarting the car, the NO BUS message went away but the message center light is still on the instrument panel. I will disconnect the battery cable to see if this fix the problem. Thx again!

Clean the negative battery cable-to-frame.better yet replace it and use some aluminum " no-ox" grease on the frame where the ground attaches to frame. Worked for me and haven't had issue since.
