There seems to be some interest by the Prowler community to purchase TGF Rear Spoilers. I would be glad to make some if someone out there would be willing to provide one to me to make a mold. I would be willing to compensate that person in some way. Contact me anytime at 949-697-8404. ------------------ |

I would order one also! Someone share there's for a prototype please!! Found this pict the TGF spoiler sure looks cool wrapping around the hard top!
Top less in yellow We Think the Hemi Kat would like one! In the rear! Maybe in black. What do you think Gary should We still do one of your mini rear belly pans cut to work with the hitch? Been tossing it up for awhile along with color red or black. Maybe a add for the spring! Your products are always great quality! This message has been edited by treyb on 12-06-2013 at 11:49 PM |

As much as I like the TGF spoiler on my Kat, there are a couple things that I feel could be addressed should another version be produced. The spoiler on my car seems to like lifting at the front leading edge. It does not seem to be properly secured using only double sided adhesive (no thru bolts). The LED lights in the third brake light are slowly failing and according to TGF there are no replacement parts available. Further inquiry revealed to me that these were not an existing part for another application, but were made specifically for their spoiler. The first change would be for a more secure mounting solution even if it meant using fasteners thru the deck lid. The second change would be to either make replacement parts available for the existing light unit or incorporate the OE third brake light into the unit.

I say change it up a bit. Don't make it identical to the TGF spoiler. It's a classic. Leave it be JMO |

Changes can be made easily. I have someone who can make LED brake lights for the new version. Tery cover up the rear of your car with one of my Mini Belly Pans. I would change the trans cooler cover for one of mine also. I hope someone comes forward with a spoiler for me to use to make a mold. I will make worth while. ------------------ This message has been edited by GaryE on 12-07-2013 at 09:08 AM |

I'm the weird one here. I don't like any spoiler on a Prowler. But it should be said, there are very few cars that I like with a spoiler (main exception is the Plymouth Superbird). |

That is what makes a Prowler so great. You can do your own thing to it, reflecting what you like. We do the same thing to our Harleys. What a great car to have and enjoy. Making parts for them have been a real joy the past 15 years. ------------------ |

I'd be interested as well, but would like to keep the existing 3rd brake light that's already on the car. |

yes, would love to leave the third brake light as is on the Prowler. I love the TGF spoiler the way it wraps around the soft/hard top. There are so many people that have it. Maybe they can tell you what they want as incentive for letting them use their spoiler. Just a thought.

Terry, I am another weird one I guess. Sometimes I just don't like things at any price. Somethings I like things more if the price is right. |

Gary: i would work something out with you. and pull my spoiler for your pattern. i have also built my factory hitch in behind the lic plate. i use a 70`s flip lic bracket. so you only need to raise the plate and insert your hitch. if this might be something you also would like to build. for other prowler owners. i use the tgf rear valance also. if you would like some pictures of my prowler i would send them. i have six 56 buick portholes in my hood 53 buick portholes in the side covers. my front a-arms are powder coated black and engraved my email : thekatsas@aol.com i`m in denver. i can`t figure out how to load pictures on here but i can send them to a reg. email . |

It looks like KAT-SAS and I can work something out. There are several other issues I have to complete before moving on, such as mold and manufacture costs, any changes made to the product and a final price that will work for everyone. I will keep you posted. ------------------ |
