Is it an option not to run with the front plate? It is law in CT but I do not have them on any of my three cars.

Welcome to the POA and congratulations on getting the best color. We need to run both plates in Ohio but I haven't for the past 15 years. I have never been stopped for not having a front plate.

I've never understood the reasoning of having two plates . Tennessee has only one plate. Why add the extra cost of the second plate? Why not 3 or 4 plates? It's sorta silly.

It makes it much easier to spot a car if you are looking for a stolen car, a car wanted for a robbery or other crime. It is easier to spot a car moving or parked in a lot.
Now with license plate readers it will really make a huge difference to law enforcement. We are only a couple of miles from KY and IND and neither of those have two plates but here in Ohio we do, except on motorcycles, of course.

I have 2000 with no bumpers or front fenders so I mounted the front plate on an angle rubber straps to the right stablizer bar. I think it doesn't detract from the roadster look of the car.

I'm going without a front plate until I'm required to mount it. I have the plate in the trunk until then. I think that the Prowler is so unusual in the front that most officers would be reasonable about the plate.

Congrats and welcome. No front plate required in GA. Thank the Lord.

I have 2002 with bumpers but I did not want to mount the front plate on my bumper so I mounted it on the stablizer bar. I think it doesn't detract from the roadster look of my car and its not a state tag but a tag for the look.

Congrats on the new ride. In NH, law is 2 plates. But, one plate, no bumpers. Oh well.
