Here is the latest photo. All apart.
The body shop manager says those "straps" seen on the frame hold the thing together? Could those heavy duty straps do that?

I imagine that any bolts thru alum won't be as strong as ones thru steel. I think they would tear out of the alum a little easier than steel. Kevlar straps are probably an additional back-up in case of a very violent collision. Goggles
.the body is attached to the frame with its own body mounts. The straps are for added protection.

the straps are for rollovers.there are only 4 body bolts holding the body to the frame and in a rollover, you dont want them to seperate.by the way the w/s frame is not aluminum its smc and if the car goes over you better duck fast.that frame will be the first thing to take your head off.

My Prowler has a frame made of Aluminum. ALCOA in Maryville Tn. made the frames. What is the w/s frame? Confused.

The Green is going to stand out. It took me a couple days just to paint the fire wall after I got Perl to that stage.
Somebody has a lot of work to do to get it back in one piece.
It took me about 6 weeks to take Perl apart and paint it and get it back together.

The Kevlar straps keep the body tub attached to the frame in the event of a side impact. They were added late in development.

Comparing Riddler's naked body car and BillyC's naked body car,
BillyC's car has and extra piece next the the rear tire, below the body frame. What is that?
