You may want to ask Jim Sutton from down Florida way if he still does his version. Its like a weekender on steroids.

I have one of Jim's, probably the only one in Europe. Lovely bit of kit. I recommend it.

The top pix shows a tow receiver w/hitch. Is this adaptation how they come or is this a one-off made by Jim? It would be great to have this installed AND be able to pull a trailer...

There's a guy in Buffalo NY who had a candy weekender for sale a couple of months back.I will try to find his number. JP Concepts I think was his screen name.

Weekenders are made to receive a trailer ball mount also.

Rog, pls clarify. I thought all luggage racks used the receiver so that nothing else can be towed. Do you mean the orig TGF (I think) weekender or Jim's new (which he hasn't named afaik)? Or do the weekenders use a 1-1/4 extender (easy to find). Haven't seen one in person....

Maybe the wkendr slips over the outside of the receiver bar so a hitch can still be inserted inside. Dying to know.. Rich

Jim are you still making both the 30 and 40 inch? If so do you have pix of each (back shots will do)?

Current prices (w/o ship)?

Rich, the weekender is designed with a receiver at the back which accepts a ball mount. So you mount your weekender in your hitch and then slip a ball mount in the back of the weekender to tow your trailer.

A word of caution though,,,,,the hitch is only designed for 100 lbs tongue load.

This shows the original RealRod Weekender, how the hitch looks. This is just a storage stand I made, and also used it on trips to move the luggage to the hotel room, to avoid unloading it. I never did tow the trailer with it. The steel wall where you would add a hitch, is not that thick.
