Went to a Auto show here in Farmingville, surprisingly I was the only Prowler there. they put me in a class with a 1967 Ford, Can anyone explain why this is? This message has been edited by DrillinU on 04-21-2013 at 05:49 PM |

At entrance, they told me to go park next to letter "X" and at the end when they were judging, they were going by letters. I will call them tomorrow, and will ask what Letter "X" class was. quote: |

That 67 isn't a 67 in all probability. They probably thought the Prowler was a kit car like the Cobra. |

I'd say 2 seat roadster/convertible roadster as a class. Other good classes for the Kat is Exotic & Special Interest. Come down to DeVry on 4-28, Gary. Should be several Prowlers there. Had seven last year. |

Mine was exotic sports points champ in 2000 in the ISCA show circuit, thought that was strange class for it, but most just don't know where to put it. I would say the cobra and prowler are in like class ------------------ |

We had a local car show here on Saturday and there was no class for a "factory built hotrod," so they tried to put me in the "sports car" category. I got peeved and left. There is no appreciation for Prowlers in this South Carolina area of Hilton Head, just a lot of "stuffed shirts." |

It's our cross to bear. Take comfort in the fact that they just don't get it and you do. I think the Prowler would fit well in an Historically Significant class if they had one. A spot for Iconic and notable cars. |
