Don't remember seeing this posted here before, but if it has, my apologies for repeating. We went to see a movie this evening and while watching the trailers on upcoming movies, there is a movie called Pain and Gain which will be out in April 2013. There was a Prowler flying down the road in the trailer!! Was surprised. Found the trailer on YouTube... you have to watch closely as it goes by quickly. It's about 3/4 through the trailer. Couldn't tell what color it was!!!

It's at 1:48. Freeze and do a screen tilt. My best guess is red; it definitely has bumperettes still attached...

You can see the unrestrained smile on the driver's face as he drives the car.

They chose that color Kat because if they had actually used a Silver, you would have missed it all together.

Yes the Silver Kat is that quick!

Purple was the first color for a reason, because it is the BEST.

They used that awful color because they bought the car for 1/2 of book value,,,due to the wide gap in the door to engine panel seam ...... poor fit, common with that color cat

Plymouth practiced on the purples,,,,many flaws and faults, and after perfecting, went with the other colors afterwards

My favorite was black or silver; since I liked both, thus the BLACK TIE.

The car was listed on eBay about a year ago.

Big write up on it and all.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but funny story

So two nights ago I was watching this movie for the first time with the wife, and after the guys in the movie make their money, they go out and blow it in expensive stuff, one buys a Porsche and the Rock character buys the prowler, when he first shows up with it, my wife says "WOW .. what a ride !!!" .. within a second she goes "Hummm ... wait ... is that OUR car ??" (she really is not a car buff)

For the rest of the movie she would not shut up on how we have a "movie" car ..

FUNNY THING IS ONLY THAT THE MOVIE IS BASED IN 1995, BUT THE PROWLER WAS MADE IN 1997.
