I did not color the top, that is the way it came to me. The rebuild took me about 2 years and countless hours. I would work on it for maybe 6 hours at a time once twice maybe three times a week.I dont have a shop or a lift so it really sucked working on it, especially in the winter with a propane heater in a 2 car garage that had 3 cars in it. Sometimes I would just stare at it for who known how long wondering what to do next and what i got myself into. |

Perseverance paid off George. That prowler is some special now. It was like a kicked puppy that you nursed back to health. It will go down as one of the notable prowlers. |
