I always drive with my windows up and top down, it helps alot with the wind noise and you can talk to your passenger. |

Thanks to everyone and those comments to come. The windows are up due to the areas I was driving through, truck routes throw up a bunch of stuff and it's very close quaters. It does cut down on the noise and buffeting of the wind too, I boat so the I'm used to all that come with the top down. The visors stay, in case the sun gets in my eyes (I just like them) wipers stay even though I use rain X. Give me a minute to digest it all before I make changes. |

"Looks bad" Who's looking at you? Who you looking at? You know them? Its just your opinion....nothing more BTW,,,people with hearing problems and hearing aids,,don't care for extreme wind coming through the cabin...FYI |

I have almost always had a convertible and have NEVER understood why people leave windows up, especially one or both 1/4 (rear) windows. It just makes no sense to me and looks goofy too. |

Welcome to the select group of Flamed Prowler owners. Nothing sets a car off like a good flame job. Keep an eye out for ECP activities in the events discussions as many of us get together from time to time to cruise and work on the cars as a group. Get as many miles on the car before winter sets in and the roads get to nasty to drive it. Remember to carry a small towel inside the car just in case you need it. quote: I'm glad you like yours down, but I don't think it looks bad either way. If your just driving around local cruising that's one thing, but if your actually driving your Prowler any distance or on the highway windows up is much better. We also use 2 way radios when traveling in group and you can't here them with windows down. When you buy my next Prowler for me, I'll then drive it how you think I should drive it. |

If you DRIVE the car, sometimes wipers and visors come in handy. In AZ, wipers only last a couple of weeks before they disintegrate but back east they will last quite awhile. The visors also affect the windflow at speed. Actually more than I would have thought. |

The biggest problem i saw is you both parked in the lines and never took up 2 spots each, I always park like an ass and take 2 spots never need to worry about anyone parking beside me and letting there door swing into the car |

quote: I agree that taking two spots can create more issues than it may solve. I find a spot next to a curb and/or out on the edge of a lot and take only one space, I don't mind walking a few more steps. As for windows with the top down. I have been known to run the A/C or Heat depending on the need but still keep the top and windows down. It's just my preference. |
