I have been diligently avoiding the upgrade for Firefox, but one night, it arbitrarily decided to do an upgrade while I slept. Next morning I found I had to restart my computer and behold!!!! Now I am one of those who can't send a pm using Firefox. Not sure if I can receive or respond. I can however do this using I.E. If you need to send me a pm, please post that you did or just use my email: Only1CJ@comcast.net Thanks....... |

Hi Cj, Remove the version you loaded by going to your Control Panel\Add or Remove Programs and look for Mozilla Firefox. Select this link 3.6.28 English version Here is the all language page: This will put you back to your version that supports the POA PM's. Just reject the proposals to upgrade to version 13 or higher. |

Dan...thanks for the info. I had been rejecting the upgrades diligently and I guess the computer had a mind of its own! I had our computer repair guy here yesterday to work on some other issues and I told him what happened. He said I could go back to the version you are referring to, but that Firefox is no longer supporting it. Thanks for trying Kala!! lol! |

Actually about the Browser thing... Mozilla stops supporting older versions usually because of security flaws that they need to fix... Personally... I wouldn't use an older browser to surf other websites... One of two things can happen... use IE for this forum's PMs... or the system software for this forum gets upgraded to support the new safer browsers... Either one shouldn't be that big of an issue... the forum upgrade would likely be the easiest. |

Is there no opportunity to make improvements to the site to address compatibility issues? Upgrades and browsers seem to be inevitable. |
