This week starts the 13th year of Prowleronline.com after 12 power packed years, hundreds of thousands of posts, enough Prowler information and conversation to last a lifetime, and the many GREAT Prowler events held to promote the car, the people, and the friendships obtained through this website. I hope you have enjoyed this site as much as myself, and will continue to support the POA through continued reading, adding input via posting, attending events, and making a financial contribution when possible. POA started by Mike & Judy Krehel, Chris Krehel, and Tony Goertz in late June, 2000.
7/2/2000
7/4/2000 7/5/2000 July through December, 2000 > many, many more Prowler owners jumped ship from the now defunct, PPC website to join the POA family

This site has always been - and continues to be - a blessing to Prowler owner's everywhere. I've been a member since early 2001. I can't say how many problems have been solved by asking the good folks on POA. My thanks to everyone here. Looking forward to another 12 years!

I found this site in early '03 and was a "lurker" for a year before joining in '04. I have attended many events and found Prowler owners even nicer in person. Like any organization many good people have come and gone but still are thought of. Some have sold their cars but have come back just because they miss everyone on POA. I can't say enough about how much it has changed my life...the trips...the people and hope it will continue for many more years. I for one respect and appreciate the oppoortunity to be a part of this site. I know of many others who don't post often feel the same way. Thanks to the POA! I registered on July 5, 2000 and never looked back. That was about a year and half after I found Larry Lord online (or he found me). He was the first person I talked with on the computer about Prowlers. |

I am envious of the original Prowler owners, I wanted one and as time went by my wife and I always came back to wanting a Prowler. Better late than never. I still see a lot of enthusiasm on the old timers and the new proud owners! |

Happy Birthday/Anniversary to POA and all the owners who make this site the best thing going!! As others have stated.....we have met so many great people and established long-term friendships through this club. How else can you spend your vacations with that many friends?? It's become a virtual family. I joined the club that Rion MacConnell started and Tony Goertz's International Prowler Club back in 97. That was before I even had my first Prowler (99)! I changed the channel on 7/09/00 when the guys contacted me to let me know that POA had been born!!! Things have certainly changed and grown. It's hard to believe 12 years has gone by. There are a lot of us "oldies" around and it's so great to see the POA continue to thrive and grow. We've been (and hosted) on a lot of the major events and lots of the regional/local events. I never get tired of it and look forward to many more new places to travel to and owners to meet and have fun with. As with anything there are trials and tribulations, but mostly just a heck of a lot of fun!! Without the owners, there would be no POA.....no events......so hats off to all of you who have made this club so great and continue to support it in so many ways. We are looking forward to having all the owners who are attending Woodward Dream Cruise this year! This is my 15th year hosting this event for the owners and I thank all of you who have attended this event in the years past!! ------------------ The Prowler makes you smile. Why? Because it's focused. It has a plot, a reason for being, a passion. It evokes the hot rod. It evokes the American Dream. This car is the human psyche.

JULY 4TH.... THE BIG “12” FOR POA/ Prowler Online Seems like only yesterday: July 4th, 2000 was tagged as the Grand Opening of Prowler Online and became BIG BANG! day for the newly established web site of Mike K. Soon thereafter the name of the group became the Prowler Owners Association (POA). A famous email from Larry Lord had circulated like wildfire whereby he announced that he was “Changing Channels”. He declared July 4th as INDEPENDNCE DAY from the PPC, the previous gathering spot for early Prowler owners. Prowler Online was extremely animated those first few days—the migration away from the PPC being a Boston Tea Party of it’s own. Owners flocked to Mike K’s new site like the California Gold Rush. Shortly thereafter, Tony Goertz merged in his Prowler site and POA/Prowler Online was declared a roaring success. So Happy 4th and Happy 12th Anniversary... as we salute a whole host of long standing Charter Members and Top of the 4th to ALL MEMBERS since that time. Club History: The first Plymouth Prowler Club was started by Rion MacConnell of Centerville, Ohio at about the time the first ’97 cars were released. That club died on the vine and subsequently the PPC evolved with Mr. Hermann of New Jersey at the helm. After awhile, the wires got hot and a lot of smoke filled the airwaves. And then came POA which has stood the test of time under a very unusual arrangement: No Bylaws, no Charter, no Officers, no dues, no insurance,—all voluntary, including annual contributions. Now how good is that I ask. Roger |

On the 1st CAAP TOUR met Mike & Judy Krehel, with so many pictures being taken Mike told me he would like some way for use to share them. That was in 1999 Fast forward to 2000 and POA was born, couldnt find the day I changed channels, but it was early on. The PROWLER has been a life changing experience, invitation to go on vacation with Larry Lord ended up with 58 Prowlers in Deadwood SD. Without the Internet and people like Mike & Tony to make it such joy to socialize on the Internet HAPPY ANNIVERSARY POA |

-- POA is a great homepage that helped me a lot in the past ( almost 10) years. I had a lot small issues on the tech. and modification side, POA helped a lot ! . . . Thanks ! I met a lot POA members from the eastcoast to the westcoast. Larry Lord ( Los Angeles) helped me a lot with the burned-orange. Many Greetings out of Frankfurt, Germany, Matthias
