Could this be wear caused by the trunk lid latch? That is a problem area that needs to be protected. |

the strap part # is--4865242aa--you will need 2--plus 4 bolts/screws.the straps keep the top,when its in the trunk from vibrating.w/o them,if you put your top down alot.will possibly wear a hole in it.the top when stored vibrates way more than you might think.straps are somewhere in the 15.00 to 20.00 range each. ------------------ This message has been edited by catfish on 04-15-2012 at 07:55 PM |

So, if I understand your issue, it appears that something is causing the canvas top to push outward just above the rear window, but when your inside the vehicle with the top up you can not see anything that would be causing this issue? Do you have a behind the seat wind screen on this vehicle, if yes, it may be mounted to high, thus pushing out on the top. |

It could be wires for the rear window defogger i did feel something there. Probably nothing. |
