Looked like there may be a dipstick at the rear of the car near the transmission cooler...is this correct? I need to get a 2000 Buyers Guide. It didn't have it with it. FLAKING CHROME RIMS- Anything I can do to slow or stop it?? Tks again, this is a terrific resource and I hope I can link up with folks. |

There are many prior posts about chrome rim flaking. The options range from rechroming, replacing or if he flaking is just on the inside, as mine were, sanding the a 3 1/2" center/inside band and painting the inside with a gray wheel paint. It is unnoticeable and inexpensive until you can afford option 1 or 2. |
