For the price we paid, I hope some good came out of the war. |

Each person has their own opinion on the price America paid for this war. The monetary price is estimated to be round $4 trillion. This includes the cost of caring for all of the injured men and women. The price I have the most trouble reconciling is that an estimated 100,000 people died during this war. My former son-in-law attempted suicide after returning from Iraq several years ago. He survived but will NEVER be the same, and his 7 year old daughter doesn't understand why. For me personally, the Iraq war was not worth it. |

When the war ends the cost of the war does not. There is the personal loss of life and the cost of emotional problems and the physical problems some of these people will last another 70 or 80 years. The dollar amount for health care both emotional and physical have yet to my knowledge been calculated. Those that earn military pensions are another group. |
