Frank's flames do not photograph well at all, in my opinion. They look MUCH BETTER in person. His car is very
tastefully done.

Yeah, i love the clean crisp look of the black tie, but would never try to make mine a clone, besides its already the purtyist single color. But i have to admit i'm intrigued with the two-tone paint jobs. I'm thinking i like the higher contrast choices, that is- blackred, blacksilver, etc. and the darker color on top so far. Most all of the combos look great, its just personal preference. So I'm looking real hard at changing my top half, or using my craving for an excuse to get another Prowler.

No I don't but a dark color like that would look great. The lighter colors don't look good at all to me when combined with the silver.

There's no accounting for taste.

Silver is pretty close to the most nuetral of colors ( medium grey) and pretty much goes with anything.

Mark,,, front of nose,,,those are/were a RealRod product...no longer in business.

Side spears,,,made by TGF in Calif.....no longer available.

Maybe somebody has those items laying around and wants to sell them,,,,,but don't hold your breath too long.

I prefer to avoid the nose hitting anything so to protect the nose and the paint I installed a electromagnetic sensor system fitted inside the nose. It is virtually invisable and only a small quarter size horn is mounted on the underside of the dash. The horn emits a progessive series of beeps as you get close to an object. The system by http://www.parkingdynamics.co.uk/ sells for ~ 80 GBP or ~$125 US.

I think the PT cruiser aftermarket products included a side spear similar to that on Frank's car that some were putting on their Prowlers.

And wasn't there a guy in Florida a few years back that had a purple and silver Prowler?

I don't think the PT cruisers were aftermarket. We have owned three PTs. The two-toned PTs had the chrome strips but they are actually on the door itself, and much shorter than the spears for the Prowlers. I had a set of the side spears but sold them a long time ago. The orange cat came with them installed but the mastic was failing so they were sagging. They are fairly heavy.
