Sounds like we've got Cat owners from throughout the midwest and Canada attending. Would it be possible to set up a "Cat-A-Van" (Alley Cat's suggestion) and really make it a cruise to remember? I'm the "newbie" and a bit turned off by the transport rates I was quoted. Does anyone have any interest in this convoy idea and do you think we could make it happen?? Comments please. |

erich. We will have many opportunities in the next several months to organize group travel. With anything it has it's advantages and disadvantages. I have found in long distance travel the smaller the better. Why? Just the different speeds, everyone trying to follow the car in front, keeping the pace, the stops, sightseeing, eating at different times, the list goes on. When there are 3-6 cars no problem. More cars more inconveniences. I will be hooking up with several friends that I have traveled with in the past and am very comfortable with...don't know who they are yet...but not a large group. There will be plenty of that when we get to Vegas. Certainly the best advantage if a problem does occur you have immediate help. With as many owners going as there is someone will eventually pass by. It is going to be great traveling no matter what! Even if you are by yourself. |
