Again another wonderful and awesome event this time. What a wonderful group of people, great activities and an awesome cruisin day on Saturday to top it all off. Thank you CJ and Bob for doing all of the work to get this event organized every year again and again and dreaming up new things we can do all the time. And thanks to all the lady and gentlemen Prowlers of the group for being there this year. Without you all it would not be an event. We have loved every minute of the last 5 days. A special word also for Frank Perrie and Tom MacGugan for driving us around for 2 days. And of course Al Bernhardt (WEDGIE) who handed me his beautiful Yellow Prowler (no questions asked) to cruise in on Friday evening and Saturday. Warm regards, Kees Engel ------------------ This message has been edited by kees on 08-21-2011 at 12:34 PM |

I'd like to thank everyone that attended the event this year. It's the people that make Prowler special. I know that people want to see pictures but pictures don't even give a hint at what CJ cooked up. From a LONG cruise to the Gilmore, to Ken Lingenfelter firing up his Ferrari Enzo, Porsche Carrera GT or the Pontiac LS3 powered Solstice with a realistic muscle car loop, to the private movie showing by the filmmaker and the star car in attendance at the WP Chrysler Museum to laps down Woodward each day. Thanks for coming! A smaller group lets the hosts enjoy each of you that much more. Thanks for coming! |

CJ & Bob, thank you both for another great Woodward Dream Cruise. It was outstanding. Also thanks go out to Mike & Sherry for their hard work & great food. Sorry about their misfortune with the Prowler. Glad you both are O.K. It was great to see old friends again. Sorry we missed our goodbys to Kees & Peter Paul. Have a safe flight back home. Till the next event, Bonnie & Mac |

What else can be said, CJ and Bob did a great job. Their love of cars and people shows in the attention to detail given to this years Woodward Dream Cruise. Bonnie and I have many memories and the excitement of all those Prowlers in a line and taking off from the stop lights in unison! The Dream Cruise itself if quite an event like no other. Thanks again CJ and Bob, a job well done! The only thing I could think of to improve the event is to have the sprinklers turned off! |

For those who did not attended Woodward this year David Veu Casovic is referring to an inside joke. Here is what he is referring to. It was about 2:00 ish PM in the afternoon and the clouds were gathering for some rain as the weatherman had predicted. My wife and I had just put the top up on our car and were going to leave, then all of a sudden, rain, no, the sprinklers in the school front yard where we were parked came on because no one thought to shut off the timer! Bob and some others stepped on the pop up sprinklers and we got out of there and the only water we had was from the sprinklers. I heard it was a downpour shortly afterward! |

Just want to say Thank You CJ and Bob for the great time I experienced at Woodward. I really enjoyed meeting all the new friends, whom I have read there posts many times, but really great to meet everyone in person! I really enjoyed having Peter Paul be my co-pilot, Kees just want to say, what a fine young man he is! This was my first trip to Detroit, I drove a total of 4,255 miles for this experience, and it was great! Thank you again to all! Tom MacGugan Roadkat Las Cruces, NM |

To all.........I apologize for the delay in response. I had some surgery on my hand a few days after Dream Cruise ended. It is immobile right now (in bandages) and I have to type very slowly with one hand (it sucks)! Anyway, thank you for the kind words and it's great to hear that you all enjoyed your time here and that makes all the work worth it!! We are always glad to host this event for our Prowler friends. We are so happy to have met some new friends, too. In another week or so, when the stitches are out and the bandages off, I'll post some photos and write a bit more. Glad everyone made it home safely. Looking forward to seeing everyone again next year.....if not before! |
