So i go to start the prowler today and dead battery...
no biggie... pop the latch on the hood near the drivers door, hood lifts a few inches and how the hell do i get it to open past that?
Seems like it latches inside and i cant get it past the latch?

there's a "D" shaped ring up against the underside of the hood. Stick your fingers in it aand pull towards yourself, then lift.

Des you've had your car how many months? Is this the first time you've lifted your hood?

If you can't open the hood, maybe you shouldn't be touching the battery??

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Sounds like it's time for a new battery and perhaps a battery tender.

I spend alot of time under there. Everytime I wash the car in fact. And I wash it alot. When I had my car appraised for insurance purposes, they spent a good part of a page on the under hood condition and appearance. Made me realize how important it is to treat the engine compartment as well as the rest of the car. You could eat your dinner off my underhood. It doesn't take long and I find it enjoyable. I've done a couple of mods under there also and have a couple more planned.

Be nice to your baby! JMO

You can, however, get the same thing from Harbor Freight Tools for $4.99 right now in their sale catalog. I have several of them. My batteries are always ready to go.

Keeping a close eye on what there doing, while taking a few pictures always helps me...

Hey John (onecat). These 3 fat old farts think these 3 girls are not good enough for them

I guess none of them have backed up tp a mirror lately

And one of them should really take whatever he can get.

I just got an urge to hug my daughters.

Spoken like someone who has already resigned himself to taking whatever he can get.

Fiber, it's a good bet that I'm at least 20 years younger than you are. So much for the "fat old fart" angle.

I've seen a lot of Onecatnodog's model shots and a lot of the girls are pretty hot. All I'm saying about the shots shown above are that two of the girls don't really strike me as "model" quality. The strawberry blonde/redhead (I always love those) on the left is pretty good looking though.

The bottom line is that if you are going to act and pose as a model, be ready for some criticism if it comes your way. Not everybody is "built" for it, so to speak.

Blown, that would make you about 40 and to these girls, you ARE a fat old fart. Also someone who shouldn't go around critisizing a woman's looks when nobody asked your opinion and it's totally innapropriate. Who gives a crap that you don't like the way they look?

If you can't say something decent, don't say anything at all. Are you trying to hurt their feelings? Are you trying to impress somebody with your opinion? What's your motive?

Hm. Actually, make that 30 years younger than you. You're older than I thought!

That being said, I seriously doubt I'm too old for any of those girls. Hell, the one on the right looks like she's at least 35 and the one in the middle doesn't seem to be too far behind her. Not that I have a problem with older women. I once had a girlfriend that was 11 years older than me. A fireball cougar is always a good thing.

I've read from you many times statements basically saying, "I can have my opinion about whatever I want, and you can just deal with it! So there!" Is this the SAME Fibertop now telling someone to keep their opinion to themself?

You need to be a little more consistent in your actions and your statements.

In following your logic (at least the portion of it that you usually present when it's convenient for you), I am entitled to my opinion.

My point is two of the three girls are not model quality, but have chosen to present themselves as models. If you present yourself as a model but don't meet the spec, you might expect to receive some comments that are not necessarily 100% positive.

It's kind of like yoga pants and other tight form-fitting clothing. While there are lots of girls who look great in that stuff, there are others who should just not wear it. Some chicks shouldn't be models either.

Well that explains it. OK so I got the age part wrong. But I can't help but notice that you haven't disputed the "FAT" part. And I know from reading your posts that I got the "FART" part right. So you're a fat fart. Same deal.

And where does it say anywhere in this thread that these girls are models or presenting themselves as models?

They could be John's sisters or neighbors that you are insulting. They're probably just girls having fun in photographs. Are all girls in pictures trying to be models? Or are you just making assumptions about John's friends.

Of course you are entitled to your opinions. And I'm entitled to my opinion of your opinions. And you are entitled to your opinion of my opinion of your opinions. You see how that works?

You might get a little wiser and learn a little respect as you age and mature a bit. For now, you are just a newbie kid with his foot in his mouth.

And Canadian girls rock!
