I entered the Prowler in the Peoples Choice Car Show and just installed the Lambos. It was my first car show not to take the top down...the Prowler received a second place award and a lot of nice compliments on the Lambos. |

NICE, George. I like the mods you have done to your car. Now you need to bring some of those quad tips to Dallas and install then on mine. GREAT JOB!!! |

Wow George, looks great. You put the rest of us Houston area owners to shame but make us proud all the same. Was that the show at Bear Creek? I am including a couple of other pictures at the recent Budweiser Classic before the lambdo door mod. It looked good then, even better now. Looking forward to seeing those doors in person soon.

George, who made those side panels? I have lambo doors and had TGF side panels, traded for Dragon panels and am having a problem with the doors opening. I realize diff. lambo doors open differently probably. |

Ed, my side panels are the OEM side panels that came with the car. I had the air vents cut out and used SS mesh powder coated black with the polished aluminum darts. If you will notice mine were built with the lines of the car, the Dragons have a slight downward angle of the vents. Also, the lambos came from Vertical Doors, Inc. |

Wow GEO I love your Prowler... I wish I could have seen it when I was in Houston on my Drive by Visit to meet everyone... Well that gives me a reason to check it out when we have the Prowler Drages in 2012 at No Problems Raceway that I'm working on... John(onecatnodog) |

Rich, the hinge/shock support sticks out to the side a little bit. On the Dragon panels there is a fiberglass support that is approx 1" x 1", about 4 or 5 inches from the rear of the side panel. (All measurements could be off quite a bit, this is from memory from last Fall). I ground down some of the support but it still scrapes slightly. I am hoping I can just extend the bottom metal tab slightly and it will work. It pops off the bottom when the door is opened because the hinge/shock moves laterally a little bit. I am not too far off from solving it. I also have the original panels so I could always go back to that, if I can find the side lights for it. The panels I have don't have side lights. I have a set somewhere from when I put in white lights on the Candy. Too much info ! The spears are no where near to the problem area but thanks for trying. |

Yep. He had TGF panels and I switched to Dragon. I am sure Dick can fix me up, I just have to get over to his shop some day and let him look at my problem. Tonight Sandy was with me on the m/c and I stopped and showed her the Red Challenger at the dealer. She said, "Buy it". I don't know what is wrong with her. She said, "Okay" when I said I was thinking about buying the Orange Prowler. I keep expecting her to tell me to sell something instead of buying something. She said I could sell the truck, and then said, "no, we need that once in awhile". Maybe sell the Orange Prowler. So I might be selling it. |

I want dibs so I can bring it back to Sacramento...but you have to wait a couple more years for me to save up some more dough. It would make a great retirement gift for me in 2014. :-) Did I ever tell you that I saw it at the custom shop in Sac where the lambo doors were made. I was finishing up my last few days of leave and saw it while driving my Kat. I talked to one of the guys who worked on it. It ranks as on of my Top 5 Kats ever. I think you bought it shortly there after. |

Thanks for the compliment but I didn't do any of the work, just subtracted a few things. I took a picture of the radio control car but it is too big and now my computer won't let me reduce the pics in size, even though it says they are reduced. |

I took off the chrome gas cap and the "spears" along the rocker panel. They were sagging from the weight and I guess the "glue" or tape was failing. They looked pretty sad and I needed some paint work done to correct that. I think that was all I removed. |

I forgot I also took off the chrome fender guards. They were all dented up and looked terrible. I had the new ones painted orange. I solved the side panel problem by having Dick Linneman look at it and tell me the obvious, which I didn't think of. I drilled out the two rivets for the spring clip that the side panels hang on. I moved the rear spring clip about 3/8ths of an inch and it works perfect. duh on my part. A really simple fix that took only a couple of minutes. The Dragon panels slot is a little too high in my opinion. I have had the Candy panels come loose a couple of times, due to the same problem. I still really like the Dragon Panels the best. |
