Please give me the pros and cons of the lambo doors. What is the price and where do you purchase them? How difficult are they to install? Thanks |

I have them on one of the Prowlers. Somewhat of a pain in the butt in my opinion. Sandy hates them totally since hers is too heavy for her to lift. I think it is harder to get out of the car with them. I bought the car with them installed, I would never install them. More opinions to follow. Some will say the opposite. Different strokes for different folks. |

Thanks for your help. I will not be considering this again. I thought it would be easier to enter and exit but not the case. Thanks |

I use my Kat almost daily as the weather permits and would find it very inconvenient to open and close these doors at all my stops, ie Walmart, Wendy's, Sams Club, gas station, etc. They are great for making an impression at car shows, cruise-ins, etc. but not on a daily basis. Just my input. |

I hope this does not offend anyone that has lambo doors. The whole purpose behind the Prowler styling was the retro hot rod look. How many Hot Rod roadsters do you see with Lambo style doors? I personally don't think they belong on a Prowler and would never do it to our Kat. On the flip side the Prowler is also about modifying it to your personal liking. So if you like Lambo style doors go for it. It's your car an do what you want. I did, and there are probably people that don't like my graphics. That looks really nice Beware. I think it's the nicest purple prowler I've seen. If it were me, I would delete the cat on the trunk lid JMO. But overall..........very nice! |
