On the way back from the Keys on Sunday afternoon, my lovely wanted to see South Beach (Miami). I thought why not, so we cruised though. What a blast!

Our Bad Cat was getting far more attention than any other car on the strip and that included Lamborghini's, Ferraris and Bentleys.

Cameras where going crazy. We were rock stars, without an entourage.

I couldn't find a free parking space of course so I paid far more than I will ever admit to park in a valet space in front of a popular restaurant and went down the street to eat lunch.

When we came back, there was a line of folks waiting to take pictures of themselves alongside our car.

I never have have to ask myself why we own these cars.

They are just a totally fun experience.

You could have charged enough for the photo opportunities to recoup your parking expense but then that would make you a Corvette guy wouldn't it.

About 6 or 7 years ago we were in Auburn, IN for the big parade and auction on Labor Day. The Prowlers led the Auburns, Cords and Duesenbergs into the town square. After they took down the saw horses I found a parking spot across from the restaraunt. We were in there for about an hour and the Prowler was being photographed NONSTOP for the entire hour. Folks were waiting to get their turn to take a picture.
A half block away were Duesenbergs worth several Million $, seriously. One was the car that set the world record at Salt Lake in 1953 (?) for a 24 hour period. It averaged about 145 MPH, as I recall.
The Prowler is timeless.

When Kylie and I were trying to catch the Prowlers on Route 66, I pulled into the parking lot of a restaurant that we were supposed to meet at. There was a Corvette show going on - everyone turned away from the Corvettes and started taking pictures of the Prowler, including some of the Corvette owners.

when we went to co 4 years ago we went across the royal gorge. on the west side we were looking for a spot to park. 2 rangers came over and took us to a no parking zone for our cars. they stayed there till we came back. i let them sit in the cat. my brother has a limited edition fire bird. 100% of the time people come to the cat first.

A few years back a POA member drove by Stonehenge and parked. Everyone turned away from the rocks and started taking pictures of the Prowler.
