I am the first driver...not owner. A car collector from Palm Springs, Florida bought it new in '97 and never drove it. I got it two years later and put the first miles on it. The odometer now reads 36,320 miles. |

Second owner of the Mulholland, which came out of Houston, and the Purple, which was in Wylie Texas. Third owner of the Yellow, which started out in Florida where the paint job was done, then went to Northern California and now makes it's home in Texas! ------------------ |

bought one new in '99 but sold that one. Second owner on both that I have now. I put 50,000 on the first one and have about 32,000 on the Candy and ???? on the Orange. |

Bought my 1997 sight unseen 1/23/98 from a dealer in VA (not that it mattered) when I heard a rumor that each year was going to be a different color and I had my mind set on the ORIGINAL PURPLE of the CONCEPT CAR. Rumor turned out false, but I still have the Purple one I wanted. Still trying to convince my Mom to either sell me (or gift me) her 1999 Purple that has 350 miles on it and also has the sticky plastic stuff on the floor where the mats go. I think it has to do with the fact that when she asked me about vanity plates, I told her COPYKAT since I had mine first. Yes, she still speaks to me!!! LOL!!!! Tom |

Bought my 1997 new and ordered the trailer. I am first retail owner of my 2002, trailer 2nd hand. I am 2nd owner of my 2001, trailer is also 2nd hand. Still own all three plus trailers. |

Feb 1996, Put $1,000 down on the second Prowler delivered to Staton Chrysler Plymouth in Knightstown, IN July 11 1998 delivered to dealer July 14th seen for 1st time July 15th 1998 took delivery sometime in august got the trailer Oct 1998 met Dave & Nancy Ridge at carshow in Evansville our cars were built same day one hour apart Nov 98 wheels sent out to be chromed Jan 1999 in paint shop for a few graphics to make it one of a kind Feb 2001 released as a Johnny Lightning diecast Buying the prowler has been the most life changing experience any car could provide. The people I have met and places I have been just would not have happened without it. ------------------

Bought my first one new. I lost my job 3 weeks later. I was told by MANY that they were forbidden from taking pre-release deposits as they did not know what dealerships would get one. When they were delivered to town, I tracked down all 5 and made an immediate offer on each one that first day. It took me til new years eve 97 to get one to accept my offer. Still have it. Bought the 2nd one as the 3rd (or 4th) owner... I lost my job 3 weeks later. Still have it. The original owner put 5K on it. Sold it to a car collector who put about 250 miles on it. He ran into some IRS problems and was about to have the collection taken to satisfy his debt. He transferred the title to his wife in hopes of keeping that from happening. The IRS found out and was about to take possession of all his cars and he sold them all to a high end exotic car dealership, where I bought it from. It's up for sale again cause I need the cash. Since I guess I started this post. My 2000 was purchased on July 2000 and has 112000 on it. Driving is the fun part.Collecting to make money in the future? Well, I am sure my great grandchildren could get the purchase price back when they sell it. My son is not even married yet. |
