Hello all, I'm looking to replace all four of my rims, they are starting to peel, and I'm just unhappy with that.

Problem is, I've been looking for replacements, but I have not found anything I like... because I love the stock rims design so much.

Any recommendations?

I been looking for awhile, even phoned Tire Rack, they said they have NOTHING that would fit a Prowler (???).

Hi ..You can get them rechromed or take a look at Foose legends they are close to the Prowler look . There is a guy in Winston-Salem , NC. That I have found that Has the best prices .of 5 different companys I have checked with .. He is about $800.00 less than the ones they are selling on ebay . Go to ebay and look at Prowler wheels for a look ..I have been thinking of changing mine.I have seen them on a Prowler and they are real nice... The name up there is Roger's Wheels and Tires

get the original rims rechormed or get the foose rims for the prowler (the look great) otherwise you will have problem to find other rims which will fit the prowler:
i know that some stores will do the rims specially for you (for prowlers) on request. just ask some tire dealers

You could get yours rechromed, but I was told it was best to start with painted wheels

I like the FOOSE wheels, probably the best looking over stock, but I too like the stock wheel the BEST

Mine were painted and I had chromed. The Barrels were polished before chroming. After 11 years I will be doing something soon. Right front has started to peel he chrome layer off, left front was told is bent, so before new tires, new wheels are in order. I have an extra set of Painted wheels that might get chromed.

Fast Forward Wheels. I know quite a few who have had their wheels done with Eli there with exceptional results. That is where mine are going to go someday. I will look for the link.

I had mine acid dipped, nickel plated, and then rechromed. I had them done 8 years ago and they look like they did the day I put them on my car. Paid $700.00 for all for at Wheels n Motion in Pomona CA.

rechroming done right should last a long long time.chrome id say at least 30 years.it also depends on how many miles you put on them.mine lasted 10 years, but also have alot of miles on them and were starting to lose some shine,do to the road rash, thats the fine grit on the road.since it hardly rains here in az and i dont drive it in the rain, that road rash is more dominant than back east, since it desnt get washed off the road and builds up.the reason we recomend fast forward wheels is some members have had there wheels rechromed by them,so we have some feedback.like anything else there are bad rechromers and good quality ones like fast forward,if you have somebody else do them look at some of there previous work if possibe.beware of rechromed mopar wheels.many of the ones that were replaced under warranty along time ago, were redone by chrysler and the quality on the inside wasnt that great.i had a friend who took his to discount tire and they sent out for rechroming to someplace in ca.and came back looking no better than when sent out.he got his money back, ordered a set from chrysler and then sent them back because of poor quality, the second set were very nice.

I e-mailed Fast Forward Wheels a couple of days ago, and have not heard anything back.

They have a web site still, but if they were still open, I'm sure I would have heard by now.
