United States Registered: Apr 2005 Admin Use	posted 02-06-2010 01:19 PM I bought item #260539707204 on e-bay from this seller frogsandfish4u it arrived with a broken bumper. I contacted the seller about replacing the broken bumper. Below is the e-mail I sent the seller and the response I got back from him, keep in mind all I ask was that he send a replacement bumper, not a refund not a replacement car just a bumper. He sells these exact cars on e-bay regularly, so he does have more of the donor cars by his own admission. I would be very careful buying from this seller!!!!!!!!!!!! Steve Hi, I received the car on Friday, unfortunately the bumper on the back drivers side is broken in half. Could you please send a replacement chrome bumper and I can install it? It looks like it just pushes in. Thanks Steve WAIT!!!!!!! You expect me to ruin another complete car (as I am not a bumper manufacturing company) so to give you a bumper. I am doing what Ebay expects by offering you your money back and / or at least a partial refund. You are correct when you assume that I will be listing another one of these cars. But, I am not going to take a chance of breaking another bumper by trying to remove it from another car. Just leave neg feedback (like you will do anyway) and I will, or have already added you to my DO NOT FLY / OR CANNOT BID ON MY ITEMS EVER AGAIN LIST!!!! Pigs will have to fly before you are able to bid on my items!! As stated before, I am sorry the bumper broke and I have done what I could that is reasonable!!!! It is especially important when they have sold thousands of items. You can see how many negative feed back comments there within the past month, 6 month, or 12 month period. I have looked at some sellers and found all is great until there is a problem, then there is no reply or poor service. I am guessing that these sellers may think that one or two complaints will not hurt their overall score. You are right to post this seller, I am sorry you were not treated better but that is the way it goes sometimes. I hope further transactions go better for you.

Steve, I've had dealing's with this guy in past years. I don't remember specifically what the issue was but I remember him being real jerk and it was the same Richard Petty car that you bought. I think Ransom has dealt with him in the past also. His M.O. is that he has friends bidding his cars up for him. JMO. Michael T. Live like you were dying !

FYI - the car he's selling is out of a Richard Petty tribute set that was sold on QVC several years back. I have a couple of the sets in my collection.
