UNITED STATES I am proud and blessed to be an American ........... Sure this country has had its ups and downs nothing is ever perfect .. But for myself I would rather live here . More then any where else in the World .. I was in the Military 1964-1970 .. NG 187th. armor cav. I received something a while back that made me even more Proud of this country .. I received a NEW UNITED STATES FLAG in honor of my father he served in The Army World War ONE ..... I was 13 yrs old when he passed away in a VA.hospital here in Florida .. I wish we could have had more time together ... it was not to be .. A friend of mine knew that the Unites States government gave the Flag for deceased Vets ...he sent some information to the Florida State Capitol .. Soon after that I received a new Unites States Flag. The Flag was flown at the United States Capitol at the request of the Honorable Cliff Stearns , Member of Congress ... In honor of my Fathers Service to this country over 80 yrs. ago .. I want to Salute All of the Branches of the Military and Thank all of the Men and Women that Protect Freedom all over the World – A lot of people Forget that Freedom is not Free ..Think about {IT} ...many have given their all for this freedom...... I am proud and honored I have been very Blessed to live in this Wonderful Country .. 10-21-09 Jim Sutton / Catmando |

No matter our views on the wars we're in, our men and women of the US Armed Services all deserve are deepest gratitude. I just saw a few video's a friend took in Afghanistan while he was there last year and they are eye opening at best. Wally |
