As someone who has planned and organized an event... I would ask that all of you planning to attend the Smokies Event to PLEASE take the time to register and pay the event fees ASAP. Waiting to the last minute to do so can create additional problems for the planners. The event form is simple, it takes two minutes to print. SO, please print it out and send your checks to Ed right away. The time to pack your car will be here before you know it. Thanks from me...and I know ED will certainly appreciate your kindness. Yes DVC, You can see who has paid on the "atteendees list" over in the EVENT DISCUSSIONS. |

Just another reminder....I know things can become hectic each week and we can forget about the up coming Event. Please take a few minutes out of your busy day to print the form and mail your check to Ed. Of the over 100 names on the attendee list....only 11 have registered and paid their fees. We are only a few short weeks away from our journey toward the Smokies. Again, Please put this at the top of your "to do" list. Thank You. |

I got 9 or 10 while I was gone and just updated it. I might not have all of the mail. Several neighbors tend to get our mail and newspapers when we are gone so someone might have some of our mail. We just got back 2 hours ago. |

Today was the first day I did NOT receive any checks in quite awhile. Thanks a lot to those who have already paid. It will help out when things are hectic the first couple of days at the event. |

Please pay your fees ASAP if you have Not. Thanks to everyone who has already paid. If you have not planned an event or even attended one of these events, you have no idea how much work is involved in putting together a week of fun for you. Do your part and please mail your checks to ED, now. There is so much more work that has to be done and the planner needs all of that time to make your week enjoyable. He doesn't need to have to collect money. Again, please be kind and mail your checks. Thanks. Jim |

Well Said. I will second that thought. It is a small price to pay for the return you get. Thanks to all that have offered up their time to plan this and other events. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

Weekly bump. About half the folks are paid. We have 5 weeks to go. I know some of you don't know if your spouse will be coming, etc but for those of you who know how many are attending with you, please try to get the funds in. We have to give numbers at some point for the meals, The Biltmore, etc. |

Gary, I will have to double check on that. Laddie took care of it and I know he told me but I don't recall off the top of my head. I missed this post earlier. sorry. I just found the email about the info. We can accomodate you up to check in time at the hotel. Laddie has things worked out for us.
