Got my 2nd. recall notice about a week ago and thought it was about time to get er done. Went to the dealer about a mile from the house, no prowler tech. Went to Kansas City to 2 dealers. One didn't know what a Prowler was the other had a tech and the tools but wanted me to bring the car to them, then they would order the parts and call me when it was ready Not gonna happen. Yesterday went to Olathe and the dealer didn't quite know what I was talking about. Said he had mechs. and they had some tools and they knew what ball joints were. Didn't know anything about special tools though. Called a Dealer in Paola Ks. They said they would order the parts, had the tech and would call when they had the parts. I could bring it down wait for it and take it home. Thats gonna happen. Wish me luck. Heard a lot of horror stories about this recall. Gotta get ready for Branson |

Check the nose of the car for scrapes when you drop it off and the a-arms for marks. Tell them no scratching the a-arms or the nose. Just my .02 |

Do as I did,,,,,demand to stand near (out of the way) and watch the process being done. That NO CUSTOMER ALLOWED in the service area due to insurance regs,,,,is BS. They will not always admit to vehicle damage,,,,or the tech may not report it. |
