Well, I consider them 'ghosty' but they are visible (yet discreet)... I did the vinyl thing, and you have to realize it's truly a commitment when you pull out the paintgun...but it's worth it IMO.

Bottom line... enjoy your car... and do whatever pleases YOU... don't worry about the next person that might own it.
There may never be a next!

I held off for a couple of years for the same reason. Not paint mind you but mods. Now I look forward to polishing and chroming stuff to make an already stunning vehicle even more one off and suited to my style. I say do it. The painted bras would be something that you could do and be middle of the road until you get the full commitment in.

Personally I think customizing a Prowler is just wrong. All my cars have remained totally stock.

Laddie is the guy that spearheaded the painted bra.

Don't recall the guys name, someone else could chime in. I'm thinking they were like $1,500 but don't quote me. It is the factory bra, he used Laddies car to start then made a buck to support the bra's to be painted.

He is very talanted and will work with you on design

As far as driving at speed, it was factory designed, works well to protect. I have only had my bra on the car one time, yellow car and black bra going back to the doors, UGLY AS HELL. As far as I know mine is the only one with yellow thread for the hood emblem logo.
