We are leaving out tomorrow after work to make the trip out to Northern California so that we can pick up the Yellow Prowler. Our route will take us from home to Austin, Texas, where we will take US 290 to I-10 to El Paso. We hope to be in El Paso by Saturday morning, and travel through New Mexico and then Arizona on I-10 by Saturday afternoon. We will spend the night in Palm Springs and visit with my sister, then head up North on I-5 from LA Sunday morning. It's going to be a long trip, but Jason is going with to help out, so we are taking are time and doing some site-seeing on the way. We will not be online, but will have a couple of phones with us, and can be contacted on the trip cell at 979-587-2524. We plan on spending a few days with my brothers in the Loomis, California area before heading back to Texas on Thursday, with the Yellow in the trailer!!! We plan to take that same route back if everything goes well with the weather and all. Thanks Willie, we will post some pics when we can. Larry, sent you an email, I hope our times hit right for either the trip there or back so we can check out the shop! I have dj's # also, and we will give a call when we get to that area too! |

T-Rex > have a safe trip! When traveling through metro Phx. area,,,,try to avoid the rush hour traffic crunch, on weekdays. Check out our new, in-pavement, photo radar system = really BS. Drive safe!! |

I just spoke with T-Rex minutes ago,,,,,,they are in LasCruces,N.M. fueling up the tow truck. He has been obeying the speed limits while driving through Texas, but is now looking forward to speeding  through N.Mexico and Arizona  I have a Az.DPS officer who I use to work with years ago,,,,,,,,think I'll ask him for a favor.... Norm,,,,,,,they only were stopping for fuel today,,,,,its a long haul to northern California. They aren't even going to stop here,,when coming through Phx. enroute. I'll tell him to call you if they are traveling the same roads back home. |

Alley Cat Tell him to adjust his shocks on his truck. As soon as he crosses into CA he will have the pleasure of riding on our rough roads. Also tell Tom if he decides to go to Northern CA driving on the 5, he should stop near me, Valencia Blvd exit on the 5 in Santa Clarita CA, as this is close to the rest room stop area(Lyons Blvd) where people stop before the long haul up and over the Grape Vine. Howie > after he passes on I-10 west, through Banning, CA,,,,,,,,on the washboard of all mothers,,,he'll be lucky to have any shocks or suspension left on his tow truck. The leaf springs on his trailer box might even fly off! Tom said he will be back online when he reaches his brother's house in Nor-Cal. You guys can P/Message Tom your phone numbers or leave messages for him that way. After he gets pulled over by the Az. DPS,,,,,doubt he will be speaking to me again soon, lol. |

Tom left a message this morning, as he has now entered Blyth California. He should be in Palm Springs in the next several hours. For all the Southern California members here, we will be meeting Tom on Thursday at Larry Lords shop, So come out and meet one of the Texas Posse...... |
