In addition to working on the fenders, I also made some other improvements in the little car. I've added mirrors, an OOga horn, and replaced the rear bumper with some mini bumperettes. I bought the mirrors at Murray's Auto Parts, and then modified them slightly to work on the car. these are real glass mirrors, which I need when I drive it in my senior community in Florida.
The Ooga horn, I bought from Harbour Freight for $10:
And finally, I cut off the rear bumper and made a couple of little stailess steel bumperettes. I needed something there to hold my safety flags:
Besides this stuff, I've also done a little body work to fill in unecessary holes, fix some blemishes, and close up the large opening around the front axle. |
