I know I have not posted often and this is not a pleasant thing, but last night my wife and I were crusing to Jersey shore for dinner when another care made an improper left turn smack into the middle of our prowler (IMNOKID). I believe it will be totaled, will keep all informed. The car took quite a hit and drove us into a curb and pole. Thank God we walked away with minor scratches and bruises. I'm really impressed with how the car took it, both airbags and front end along with drivers side severe damage. The impact also spun the other car around which then hit us from the rear crushing my brand new GET A WAY (installed) in the morning. As I feel right now I'm going to take the winter to find another Prowler as it was our favorite car toy over the years, and just loved driving it. Keep Prowling Jerry (IMNOKID)

REALLY sorry to hear that, but glad no one was hurt. on the bright side, every time a prowler bites the dust, in theory it helps the value of the remaining cars... Good luck in finding a replacement...Prices are way down right now..... bargain hard with the insurance company.....

Jerry,
Sorry to hear of your mishap. Glad you and your wife are OK.
On a lighter note, MDProwler is having a Maintenance weekend so send the car to his house and we can all repair it good as new.

Good luck with your search for a replacement.

So very glad you are both OK. Sorry to hear about the cat but probably best if it gets totaled. There have several stories like yours of bad accidents with none or minor injuries to the occupants. Seems like Prowler is a very crash worthy vehicle.

Jerry, Yes, Thank God that you are both going to be OK. I can attest to the Prowler taking a hard hit and I survived with only minor injuries too, but my Kat was totaled. As hard as it is to let it go, don't dispair, because you can now look for exactly the one you have "Always Wanted". Good luck on the search. Brad

Sorry to hear about that Jerry I hope you and the misses are OK. My wife had a terrible accident 1995 they had to rebuild most of her cute little face and teeth. We went thrue hell with the surgeries for 2 years. You are very lucky you weren't seriously hurt.I have your replacement Prowler in my garage 4600 miles. Call me when you get time and I will give you the details 636-938-6697

Sorry to hear of the bad luck but like everyone said, YOU and YOUR WIFE are okay. That is the truly good news. You can find a low mileage replacement, I have several times already.
I hope you guys still feel okay in a day or two. A lot of times the worse part of it is a couple of days after the impact. You get pretty sore. I hope the guy who hit you has good insurance and you come out of it okay financially as well as healthy.

Cars (even our precious ones) can be replaced. People cannot. Take good care of yourselves. The rest will work out!

Jerry......so very sorry to hear of this. Most importantly, though, is that you and your wife are okay. Cars can be replaced. I'm sure you'll find a very nice replacement.

real sorry to hear of your loss
as long as you both are ok is all that matters
ps--with all the summer tourists coming down here to the shore areas, i rarely take any of my cars out on the weekends
once they leave(labor day), thats when i start really enjoying my toys.

good luck with your quest for another prowler
