Thanks all for the prayers, Natalie is doing better but still not good enough to go home for awhile, she remembers nothing about what happened other that she was not feeling well for a few days. At her age Its sad when no one checks in on you for days at a time. I'm in Conn, I always called her & sent cards on her Birthday, mother's day, & holidays but she has a Daughter, niece & nephew that are fifteen to twenty minutes away & they hadn't stopped by or called her in some time, they didn't even know she had a problem until I called them & told them that her Neighbor had called me to tell me what had happened to Natalie . I couldn't reach her daughter & no one called me or her neighbor back until last night & at that time I was the only one at the hospital in Long Island with her. Oh well she wants to go home real bad because she knows what going to happen if she stays at the hospital, she said I want to die at home. get me the hell!! outta here.(Natalie's own words). Thanks again for the Prayers |

My Aunt will go home on Monday as per her wishes. What is sad is that mind wise she is sharp as a pin, but the problem is that her mind says go, but her body says no. Thankfully I will be able to fulfill her wishes & keep her in her own home as long as possible with the help of her neighbor & friend & if things work out soon a full time live in caregiver. I would to thank all for their Prays & good thought's toys |

Sadly My Natalie Passed away this afternoon. After I brought Natalie home she was so Happy & Grateful that she was in her own home & not getting Jabbed, poked, & probed anymore. She lived a good life & had accepted her fate with no problem & no regrets as long as when her time came it was at her home, Glad I was able to make that happen God Bless you Auntie Willie |

God bless you Willie for helping her get home. With my Mom's latest stroke a few weeks ago and now today a raging infection in her urinary tract, I just don't know how much more of this she can take. So I do know the words to this story too. Good to talk to you again the other day, our prayers are with you and your family. My mom died in early April after a very brief illness. She was 89 and had Alzheimers but seemed very healthy and she got sick and was gone in less than a week. I am sorry for your loss but 89 is a ripe old age. Your a good nephew. |
