What is the purpose of the Dynamat Extreme. Is it for sound deadening, or heat, or both?

Rick. I can take things apart...it is just putting it back together and making it work! From the looks of it you must have retired and need a major project to keep you busy. Hope to see you again soon.

I was curious also. If its for heat I will be anxious the hear if it helps and how much it does so. The frame is looking fantastic.

was thinking of using some heat insulator, like the above photos.as you can see it's alot of work to remove all that stuff.instead i bought some louvered heat shield, and installed on 2 cat coverters and pipes coming out of converters it definetly has cut down on the radiant heat coming from those parts.you can usually feel the heat in the cold weather, not anymore.will take some photos and post next time my car is on a lift.

I was thinking the same thing.

Must have something to do with owning an Orange kat.

Nice job Rick!

That kat will be a whole lot quieter and the sound system will sound soooo good!

Kees, Rick does not like to post. His front end was already chromed. He is a master machinist and helped me out with a few things. He rates right up there with Kraut for doing something correctly. Everything is first class.
His car is outstanding.

How do you get back in the garage without spinning all the rubber off?
