What is the purpose of the Dynamat Extreme. Is it for sound deadening, or heat, or both? |

was thinking of using some heat insulator,like the above photos.as you can see it's alot of work to remove all that stuff.instead i bought some louvered heat shield,and installed on 2 cat coverters and pipes coming out of converters it definetly has cut down on the radiant heat coming from those parts.you can usually feel the heat in the cold weather,not anymore.will take some photos and post next time my car is on a lift. ------------------ |

Kees, Rick does not like to post. His front end was already chromed. He is a master machinist and helped me out with a few things. He rates right up there with Kraut for doing something correctly. Everything is first class. His car is outstanding. |
