After talking with Marybeth at Mariott here in Golden, Carl will be the go to guy on posting what is happening with the event at his chosen hotel.. Sorry I can't help on this one guys... Message from Marybeth...... I would hope that your group would make every effort to work with integrity and fulfill the commitment with the Marriott. If it were your own personal credit securing these arrangements I'm sure you would agree that you would want every bit of support from your fellow Prowler club members. In conclusion, I will be happy to provide rooming list updates to Carl Spike upon his request. You can contact him directly for your bi- weekly updates. Since he is our main contact and the person who signed our agreement,we would prefer that all future communications and negotiations go through him, unless he gives us permission to work directly with you. Colorado allows special event licenses plates for car clubs. These license plates are valid plates during the event and are yours to keep as souvenirs. I would like everyones input on what we should put on these license plates. #2- is where we could put our design. (I was thinking of either a picture of a Prowler or the cat) #4- 6 spaces for letters or numbers- everyone's plate has to be different- since these are legal plates (I think a word with numbers after i.e. PRWL01, PRWL02,PRWL03 etc.) NEED YOUR HELP HERE! #3- Anything we want... 22 spaces. i.e. "Prowlin the Rockies 08" #1 & #6- Color can be our choice Remember these would be valid plates for your car while you are in Colorado during this event (June 2008) no matter what state you are from. These plates can be reused at future Colorado events for no extra charge. Depending on the response these plates should run between $35- $45 per set (2 plates each- made at the prison in Canon City!) For those going please let me know if there is an interest in this and if so what should be on them.

Prowler People Let's get it done and make your plans to attend our June Event in 2008... I just Got a NEW CAMERA for my birthday and you think I took a lots of pictures be-fore, just wait till I figure the new one out... Don't forget to get the plate that Grant's offering.... onecatnodog |
