Between Limon Colorado and Hudson Colorado, I guess my car was sending some significant smoke signals to the Colorado contingent returning from Tulsa. Today, I finally got a chance to get it into the shop to look into the reason. The cause of the smoke (and failure of the AC) was that the a hole was worn into the AC dryer header pipe. This was caused by a lack of clearanc between the dryer pipe and the Prowler Pro exhasut headers on the left side of the motor. I'm NOT busting the chops of the Prowler Pro headers, there Okay. However, if you've got Prowler Pro headers, this is a courtesy heads up, to check the clearance, and to bend the dryer tubing out of the just a "smidge". Prowlers Rock.. ------------------ |

OCND... NO..the season is never over in Coloraod UNLESS it's a year like last year and it's the WINTER from HEll! (seems to me that the only inconvenient truth is that there is NO global warming??..) YES..the Stinger may be ready to ROCK soon.. ------------------ |

Update.. The replacement stock dryer header is at least 1" away from the headers. The tube had to be pushed into the headers either by the header install, the install of the Gary fill panel, or the painting of the car..or? |
