My low tire light on the dash remains on. It is NOT blinking or beeping. This problem is intermittent. It can stay on for a few minutes or hours or a day and then goes off only to relight days or months later. The tires all have the correct tire pressure. I believe this is a common problem but does anyone have the definitive fix for it? Thanks in advance for any help.

Take a great deal of air out, then refill to the correct pressure.
I dont know why but it worked on my last car.
I think it resets the sensor.

I have tried some of the fixes posted, the only one that worked for me and is still working is a piece of black electrical tape over the light

No I did not. I will disconnect it and see what happens.
Thanks. This sure would be the simplist fix.
