I am interested in buying an Air Patrol for my Silver Prowler and tried to call the number on Real Rod's website and got no answer. Also, emailed the website address and the email was returned. Does anyone know if they are still in business and how they can be contacted.
Thanks...Geo.

George, this question has been a very hot topic for over a year. Suffice it to say, if you want some of his items, your best bet is to watch E-Bay and the Classified section here. I will leave it there. JMO

Hey George

The Air Patrols are a very rare item to get your hands on especially since Real Rod is no where to be found these days and was the only one producing them. I was lucky enough to get one from him. JMO is correct Ebay or Classified ads.

Real Rod has kept many of us waiting for over a year, making us pay upfront for air patrols and other products.
ebay, and the classified ads here are the best.

OK I did some searching and I found out that the Air Patrol is a glass windscreen that mounts on the rear deck. I suppose to keep down backwash wind. <p> Looks cool but I'm reading that it's not available. I can make this. Anyone besides me want one? Can anyone send me a photo of how it installs?

Here is what a Air Patrol looks like... Still wanting to cut and paste but was unable to do it... Please share your secret Northern Cat... Northern Cat has made pins that hold the hard tops down and are much better than the pins that came with the Air Patrol or the cool hard tops. Northern Cat nows his stuff and will help you out if you need a set. He's a super nice guy just P.M. him he will respond. The Air patrol goes into the same holes were the top is latched down in back and if you look at the bottom side of your top you will be able to see the design format that holds it in place... I will try to get some pictures of the pins and the Air patrol off the car and post them for you unless someone out there already has it... Please post it... onecatnodog

I know how every one feels about Bob now, but I want to say, when I first got my Kat in 03, he helped me a LOT. I subsequently purchased a weekender, air patrol, mudflaps, speakerbox and many other misc items and NEVER had a problem. When my speaker box came in mashed, he got me a replacement one fairly quick. His products were always inventive, worked, and the paint matched.
Whatever his problems are now, I hope he can get them resolved. It's probably too bad he couldnt be more upfront with everyone about whats happening, but people are people and whatever is happening, its probably not easy to untangle. I wish him well where ever life takes him.

Leo, there hasn't been one question about the dedication he had, the products he did, provide in the past. Whatever the problem, it apparently started to show up over a year and a half ago. He had a ton of testimonials about how he used to do business. Nuff from me.

Also it costs less, Doesn't need to be painted, Doesn't have to be removed when putting the top up, and it lights up! And Thank you very much for your order George!
