Sorry, slow with the short story and pictures of the Viper/Prowler Poker Run. But have been SOOOO BUSY! So here is the short story. My friends from the Colorado Viper Club invited us up on our first Poker Run.. Sent out my normal 25 E mails and had 3 cars show again... Prowlers that is and about 10 plus Vipers... One Viper got kicked out of the Parking lot before we got there for doing SMOKING DONUTS... Sorry I missed that as it would have been some great pictures... Grant and his brother-in-law Tim, Philip and Linda, and Susan and I made it with our Prowlers.     |

Biggest dog in the lot was a BLACK BIG TURBO VIPER... 1,100 hp.   |

I had to ask the owner of this Viper about his plate, Yep I got a few screws loose and some missing so I couldn't figure it out... YBYA4RE... Yep it stands for WHY BUY A FERRARI... DUH!  |

First time for a Poker Run for me. The Viper Club members drew 2 cards at the starting point in the parking lot. I also had a deck and the NON-Viper people drew from my deck two cards also to start... They gave away a gift for the best top 3 hands for Viper Club Members and a gift for the top NON-Viper persons hand... I not wanting to be out done gave away a gift to the WORST Viper Club Members hand and one to the WORST NON-Viper Club persons hand so my Prowler people looked to have a good chance to win something... Cards would be pulled at the stops along the way and the last stop the pick would give you a total of 5 cards... Then off we went on our cruise... |

Biggest cruise event that I have been on with cars here in Colorado going into the mountains and I can see that we will have trouble trying to keep the cars from being split up. Close to 17 Vipers, 3 Prowlers, a Crossfire, and a Viper Truck. They were definitely experienced as they would block traffic and let us pass when there was two lanes in the same direction. They did that several times allowing us to stay close to the pack... Thanks Viper Guys and Gals... onecatnodog    |

I guess I could post a bunch of pictures but I promised to keep it short... Well Kind of short anyway... Here is our first stop in Netherlands Post Office as that is the only place were we could put that many cars in one place...       |

Since we had all the spots in the Post Office taken waiting on the Millenium to open for are final stop for lunch. People kept pulling up to use the post office and check out our cars so onecatnodog helped out this older lady as she thought the cars were great and I put her letter in the outgoing box for her to keep her from walking the parking lot.. Prowler's deliver the mail...  |

Made some new friends as the guy in the red shirt in the middle is Drew, he owns the Black Viper right behind him and also owns a Black Prowler. Boy I wish I could get this many Prowlers on a cruise together for fun... Thanks Vipers for the invite... Grant and Tim had to leave early and I thank TIM and him for showing up for the run making it THREE PROWLERS as he had a diner engaugement with his wife... Missed out on the Prizes. Drew did pull cards for him and he still had a chance to win, no Grant I didn't give away a little Prowler. Sure would have been a lot cheeper...     |

All right, I said I would keep it short but it's so hard to do with all the great pictures that I have. I guess I will end it here seeing the light in the tunnel...    We all made it safe and sound to Boulder for lunch and The Viper Club gave out some very impressive gifts.. $100.00 First place, $50.00 Second place and $25.00 Third place. The Gift was $25.00 to the best NON-Viper person for the best hand. Lucky Susan my wife was able to win the Non-Viper prise. The Viper Club was giving back some of the monies that are collected in the $100.00 a year dues... That's Super Cool... The Colorado Prowlers gave out to the worst hands Viper and NON-Viper people. Two Car Mount Fire Extinguishers ready to go... Thanks again to the Viper Club for the invite and to all the Prowlers that showed.. Poker Runs are Fun... onecatnodog |
