A big thanks to the Colorado Springs Prowlers as Len and the Gang took us to Garden of the Gods after the car show and then to Johnny's for a late lunch... Look for the story and pictures tomorrow... It's a must to come to Colorado in 2008 or you will miss this... (couple of teaser pic. till tomorrow)... I't was a super busy week with a three planed events.. Racing on Wed, Garden of the Gods on Sat. The Poker run today so I will be leaving here in a few min... As usual I hammered out the E mail invites and used the phone for those that don't play on the computer... Three cars at Bandimere, three cars from Denver going to Colorado Springs. I hope I have more cars than 3 today as the Vipers are at 10 strong... But no matter, I have planed events and they have turned out to be ONE MAN CRUISES... Still had fun, how can you not your in a Prowler... |

I'm Back... So now the rest of the story.... Grant, Ben and his wife Chris and there dog Angel came to play on Saturday... It was Ben's first cruise with us and he is a great addition to our growing club... We met up at Red Robin 3 cars strong to do the Springs cruise were we met up with Bobby, Bob and his wife, Andrew, Wayne, Len with his trailer. Wayne showed in his Killer Black Jeep, just for the car show and to meet with us. I was able to give away my last two cars that Marc gave me to a young girl and boy after they got to sit in my car for photos, there mom fell in love(with the car)... Thanks Marc for the toy Prowler cars.........    |

We had a few people stop by and take photos like always and we were running late to our Springs Date, but stayed to answer all questions.... Some guy in a work truck said we made his day... The Prowler makes mine every time I drive it...  |

OK, you just never know what you will see while driving a Prowler... But I have never seen this before... While cruising down the highway we came up on some cycles and in the pack there was a DUDE with a helmet with Blue hair glued to it and if that wasn't bad enough this guy had a BRA on and had it stuffed full... His whiskers gave it away.   |

There they were... The most beautiful cars ever... That's right Len had the Prowlers all lined up on a hill above the car show and were starting to draw a crowd away from the show. That's when they came up and asked if we would join them... I replied that we were waiting on one more and would happy to do so when he arrived.. But we couldn't stay long as were were on a mission from God... Garden of the Gods that is... Thanks Len for your effort with the cars in the Springs as he worked out the details and gave us a guided tour at the Garden of the Gods... Thanks to all the Springs members that joined us for the event...    |

Man that brings back some great memories when I was there. the Gods is a very beautiful and unique paced to visit. I would love to ride my cat in that CO weather. Nice pictures. |

Bogie55... Please come to Colorado for our 2008 event. Here is the hotel link and we will take you on our un- forgeable cruises... Colorado is Calling BABY! Finally, the foundation for a great Prowler meet has been established. Negotiations with West Denver Marriott has produced an awesome environment for our event. A beautiful hotel, inside and out, with a staff ready to cater our every need. Setting right at the base of the Rocky Mountains, our access to and from the mountains or the city are quite convenient. Marriott has agreed to set up multiple car wash areas and they have even offered to start saving the worn out terry towels and clothes for us to have and use as we desire. There is plenty of room for any car haulers, truck-trailer combinations, Prowler trailers, etc. There will not be any problem getting these rigs in or out of these areas regardless of size. Another big plus is the close distance to plenty of restaurants, fuel stations, and shopping areas. Shuttle service from hotel to these areas will be available to us. We hope to have many different choices of runs and activities, led by our Colorado Prowlers. So you can decide on how to spend a great vacation with us. As for now, mark these dates down and call to make your hotel reservations soon. Opening day will be Thursday June 19, 2008. Registrations through the day with meet and greet early evening. We will have short runs and activities for early arrivals. As we plan the runs and activities for Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday we will post them. Banquet and awards/auction will be Tuesday evening with check-out on Wednesday June 25, 2008. Hotel rates for the Prowler's event are $99/night with taxes currently only 4.5%. Here is a Special Thanks to Len from the Spring for helping out on this event and future events. Len is the Proud owner of one super clean 1997 Prowler and Trailer with close to 3,000 miles on it and was nice enough to lead a tour to Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs and then to Johnny's for lunch, then showed us out of town..   |

Another thing I noticed was the rear speaker box didn't have the screens.. The 1997 has small round holes were my screens are..   |
