"Were back Home" after a grooling 26 mile drive from the Wingate Hotel. Each morning started out better than the one before. Good food and lots of conversation with friends and owners about the previous days events.
THURSDAY - Party given by Chrysler was fantastic. Surprise guest was really a surprise. Bob Nardelli seems like a very down to earth person and just cause he owns his own black tie doesn't mean he's any better than the rest of us, he took CJ by the arm and they walked down winding through the cars talking and shaking peoples hands. Chrysler had gifts for everyone, from Tee-shirts with the 10th anniversary logo, to glasses for everyone with the logo in the color of everyone's vehicle. Very nice. Had a chance to meet the design team for the Prowler. Not only was it informative but nice to find out that many own the vehicle themselves and do care about it as we do. Good band, but only a very few chose to utilize their services.
FRIDAY - Another good day. Go Kart racing and for some the Henry Ford for an adventure in the past. Friday evening was a test drive down Woodward as a group to see what 170 plus cars can do to stay together. I think we past the test, and now for
SATURDAY - Never, dare I say NEVER in the history of the "Woodward Dream Cruise" has any car or group of cars put a halt to the driving on Woodward. We had 18 motorcycle officers stopping traffic North, South, East and West on Woodward to allow 170 plus Prowlers to exit the Parking lot and make an illegal left turn onto Woodward at 13 mile rd. It took all of Three (3) minutes to achieve this awesome task. Great feeling, all I can say is on saturday at 4:00 p.m. the prowler ruled Woodward this year. The intense surge of power and the rush of excitement from the spectators on the streets will probably never be felt again. You just had to be there for yourself. To bad if you did'nt have that opportunity.
The Dinner at the Aspen was fantastic as usual. They managed to get us ALL fed and out of the restaurant in time to return to the hotel for lots of talk about the days events.
Do I give you the feeling that I was excited and on a natural high regarding this whole event? I was and still am. All this because someone cared enough about everyone who owns a prowler. CJ planned and executed a perfect event. Thanks to CJ and to Bob for all the memories. We shall carry them in our minds and hearts for quite some time. In fact, everyone I spoke to said the event was everything they hoped it would be, but to their surprise it was much better than expected.
Thanks CJ for takin g the time to make this dream event come true. It took many hours. More than anyone could ever imagine, in order to make all this happen.
In fact, thank's is not really enough - but it will have to do. Everyone in attendance this week will attest to the fact they had a once in a life time experience. It will never be outdone.
So, in conclusion we can only say, Thanks for everything.
Pam and Tom Gulyas

Tom and Pat cannot agree with you more. A big Thank-yougoes to CJ and Bob for all their hard work in making this year's Dream Cruise event a special one. Every thing was well planned right down to the lovely weather. The co-operation of the police and the mass procession of prowlers from 13th to Woodward was tremendous. The local radio station even commented on the fact that traffic on Woodward was stopped due to a Prowler parade.

CJ and Bob thanks again for all the work you do for your prowler family.

Thank You sooooo much, CJ, for getting us in at the last minute! I'm still bringing Joe down off the ceiling(o.k. I'm up there a little, too!). We had such a blast meeting all the other prowler owners. We made some new friends, and even took a few around town a little bit on Friday. The trip to the Harley store was good, but we're real sorry about 9 mile road and the geyser at Applebees! We can't wait to Prowl around with all our new friends again! You'll be able to hear Joe coming with his air horn, if I let him buy a new can of air! Thanks again CJ and Bob, it was beyond excellent!

Thanks CJ & Bob, We had a great time. Thursday night was great, glad I got to see the Prowler prototype. I picked my wife up at the airport on Friday morning (she has never been w/ the Prowler group before), she then met a lot of the people, cruised w/ the group & hung out in the parking lot & had a great time!! The only problem is she may not let me go without her in the future.

I'd like to thank all that pitched in and helped. Thanks for the generous support throughout the event. The Motor City knows that Prowler was in town!

This is the first time that I've heard that Dream Cruise was stopped for a group of cars. And guess who they stopped it for? You had to be there. All traffic on Woodward Avenue and 13 Mile Road was stopped to allow over 150 Prowlers to exit from their parking area and head to the banquet. I appreciate everyone's cooperation getting out of the lot and onto Woodward quickly! Three minutes from the first car over the curb to the last! Who said Royal Oak Police ticket everyone for excessive tire noise and speeding? Without the cooperation of the Royal Oak Police Department, it would have been a huge issue getting over the dinner.

Thanks to all are friends in the POA. A BIG thanks to BOB & CJ. Thanks you sooooooo much for an outstanding event. The coolest thing was when PROWLERS stopped the Woodward Cruise dead in it's tracks, to let us cruise Woodward on our own. FANTASIC !!!

I have to agree with all of the above. The left turn from 13 Mile onto Woodward is probably the biggest thrill I ever had driving a Prowler. That includes the first ride.
EVERYONE on Woodward was looking at the parade of Prowlers. There were no other cars moving. I turned the corner expecting to hit the brakes and instead I floored it. Unreal. We had several blocks of full throttle. I was one of the very last cars so I got to watch a lot of it. Too cool.
We also got free hat pins at the party on Thursday. The food was excellent, along with everything else. It was all first class, as usual.
WildBill and Carol Braughton collaborated on making a hat pin set. There was a drawing to see what lucky 30 POA members got to buy them. I was one of the lucky ones. It is quite impressive. Good work.
I don't think I will ever attend Woodward again, however.
It can't possibly live up to this year's event.
Thanks CJ & Bob and anyone else who helped out.
We intend to write a nice letter to Chrysler thanking them for their continued support.
The prototype was there along with the very first Prowler. Wow, that was cool to see. I had never seen the prototype.
The 4 days went by way too quickly.
Thanks again CJ & Bob. GREAT job.

Thanks to CJ & Bob for a great event and to Pam & Tom for all the assistance they gave CJ & Bob. Additional thanks to Carol for the great name tags, WildBill (because he is), to Pat, because everyone should have a tattoo at least once in their life, to all the vendor who were there to help us learn and/or spend our money, to the hotel who tolerated us making their lobby into a garage and finally, all the others who assisted CJ & Bob...
Once again, THANKS! IT WAS A BLAST!

Dear CJ and Bob,
Thanks a bundle is not enough. This was a tribute to the 10 years of the Prowler and you gave us all a tremendous
performance on organization, hospitality and building a
large family of Prowler enthusiasts.
The turn from the parking lot onto 13 and then onto Woodward is something that cannot be expressed. Awesome.
Driving between 150 Prowlers turning onto Woodward is already an experience but standing alongside Woodward
and then see 150 Prowlers showing up must have been a tremendous
experience. Never seen so many people with thunps up and applauding while passing the crowds.

My son and I had a great time and we would also like to thank all of the other Prowler owners at Woodward
who made this event unique.

Hope you all had a safe drive back home (it was raining hard when we drove to Chicago).

Best regards,

Kees & Peter Paul

Let's not forget that no one but CJ and Bob could have pulled this off. No one else has the necessary connections to make it happen. It was awesome.
