CJ,
You are a Genius! And all this time I thought RPL married you just for your good looks.
I went out at lunch for a 'dry run' to the hotel. Excellent choice for the Prowler hotel location. Anyone either coming north or south on 75; go west on M59 one exit to Opdyke. Exit Opdyke to the right. At the end of the exit is a light, turn left. Get in right lane. First street at the light is Featherstone. Turn right at Featherstone. Hotel is 100 yards on your right! Can't miss it! If you continue on Featherstone you will go right past the Chrysler head quarters and the WPC Museum. If you continue further to the next stop which is Squirrel Rd and make a right, you wind up back on M59. West for Woodward. East for the Aspen and Kart to Kart! Very easy on and off!

Need a little advise from the "locals"....We'll be coming North on I-75...Once we've entered Michigan what do you think about getting off I-75 at exit #35 and then taking Route 24 (Telegraph Rd) due North and then getting back on I-75 at the 75 mile marker? (The next exit up is #77: Auburn Hills)

It appears that route 24 (Telegraph Rd) is a straight shot and avoids driving thru Detroit on I-75....

bjprowler,
Even better yet, take 275 North from 75 North (about 15 miles into Michigan from the Ohio border). 275 then intersects with 696. Take 696 East until you see the Telegraph exit (24). Head North on Telegraph (24). At this point you have two options. Continue on 24 until you hit M59. Head East on M59, thru Pontiac, and get off at Opdyke. (you are heading back toward 75) Or, while on 24, and south of M59 you can pick up a 75 north junction, get on back on 75 North for a short jaunt and exit off at M59 West. Then one exit to Opdyke. The 275 / 696 is a more Prowler friendly road. I hope I haven't confused you to much!

Quincy has a great idea. Telegraph is a high traffic road - goes through lots of cities and has traffic lights galore. Take Quincy's advice for a more relaxing prowler drive. Drive safe and take care everyone coming to Woodward.
