Had a super turn out and only 2 had to cancel, so there were 9 Racing Prowlers joining in on the fun... Marc with his Purple, Russell in his Yellow, Grant with his Blue, Matt in his Blue, Bob in his Candy, Michael with the Black Tie, Steve in his Silver, Don with helmet and in his Silver, John in my Black, Don Bish with his Purple showed with his Prowler and Family to watch.. Thanks for the support Don... Even though the night was cut short some of us like Mark got in 5 runs with the rest of us getting in 2 or 3... SAVE YOUR TICKETS as Bandimere called it a rain day and they can be used on Weds. one time only for 1/2 of with the ticket for racing the rest of the year. Ten cars were there in total and that's on a school night... Great Job Prowler Owners to support the growing club like that... THANKS! Here is what you have been waiting for so I will post some pictures and end it with a short video if I can get it to work... John(onecatnodog)Colins |

John, thanx for putting the word out. I had a great time even with the floodgates opening up on the way home. Rich, it was very hot, in the 90's and times were3-5 tenths slower than when we ran in May. All of my runs were slower than any I've previously run on the Stroker. All in 14.4's |

It was good to see Don there, as we have missed him since he cleaned our clock on the SLOW CARTS at Heritage Square. |

quote: Actually not that high until late. Started out about 30% and by 7 before the rain started 50% which for us is humid. Usually it's the heat that kills us at altitude not the humidity although the combo is really bad. In 6 years of going to the track the best density altitude I've seen is 6900', the worst 9300' with average around 7800'. We didn't have a computer yesterday but didn't need it to remind us we were there for fun and not fast times. |

While we were in tech line I got to check out some cars and my friends Silver Viper GTS was right in front of Bob's Prowler. Last I saw it at the Dyno Pulls it was putting out 635 to the rear wheels with a super charger and I thought that was KILLER. But this winter he removed the super charger and installed TWIN TURBOS... Now he has 855 to the rear wheels and this was the first time out with his new set up... Got a couple of pictures while waiting.... |

Excitement of a first time racer Russell, I remember my first time... I still get excited, that's why I love to race... You forget about all your pains and problems when your staging at the lights... onecatnodog |

Bandimere is a Super nice place and track conditions are well cared for.. The staging lanes are on a hill so you can roll down to the opening below the tower and drive thru to the track and race. This keeps you from having to run your engine and you are able to let your car cool down more. The draw back is I miss the rumble of the race cars in the staging lanes like were I used to race at when I was a kid... U.S. 30 Drag Strip... SUNDAY, SUNDAY! still rings in my head to this day from WLS radio.. |
