Due to the size this event has grown to, we have exceeded the budget. Dean from Prowler Pro and Ballenger have graciously donated a completed set of their premium long tube headers, y-pipe and all hardware to support their installation. This package sells for $1,895 plus shipping. The headers will be on display at the event for everyone to see the amazing quality of this item. Following the event, the headers will be shipped to the winner at no cost. Bidding starts with this posting. It will be a closed auction. I will post only the high bid periodically so you will know how your bid stands. All bids are to be PM'd to me. If you can't PM me, email your bid to boblongstreth@comcast.net Bids will be accepted in the order received with the high bid at the time this closes Monday night at 10:00 PM EDT declared the winner and announced, unless the bidder wishes to remain anoumous. Bidding starts at $1,500. Remember, shipping is included. The organizers are trying to avoid an event fee if possible. The hope is to only have to charge for the Saturday night dinner. |

That's great to see Dean step up to help everyone enjoy the largest gathering of Prowler's held to date! Long tube headers will make a noticeable difference, especially on the top end power on the Prowlers. I'd bid but I think the headers are missing a tube on each side if I was going to use them on my SSR! This message has been edited by Marty Usher on 07-20-2007 at 03:09 PM |

RPL, Dean is one class act! I always enjoy talking 'shop' with him. It is very generous of him to 'donate' such a prized Prowler component. But, on another note, if budget issues exist, can we ask our members to help defray the massive costs associated with organizing this event? Event 'dues' could be solicited and forwarded to your address in the form of cash. (to help minimize numerous stops at the bank) I for one would be more than willing to help fund this event. It is not proper for you and CJ to 'eat' the costs associated with coordinating such a massive event. Not to mention your and CJ's time and efforts! If you agree, please start a new thread with a number in mind if we had 100% participation. I am sure not everyone will donate, but I am also sure many would surpass the base line amount. What do you think gang? Would $20.00 or $30.00 dollars break the bank? ------------------ |

THE HIGH BID AS OF 10:00 PM EDT Sunday, August 22nd is $1,627. Only 24 hours to go....... The auction for this high quality header kit will end at 10:00 PM EDT tomorrow, Monday, August 23rd. I agree. Dean has been most generous donating this extremely high quality product to support his fellow Prowler owners. Also thanks for the offer of helping to cover expenses. I haven't given up yet. DCX just came to CJ Friday as we were leaving town with an acknowledgement that they were short on funding. For now, we're working very hard to avoid an event fee. It may be unavoidable but it will be the last resort and we're not there yet. CJ has always tried to keep the cost of her event to just the cost of the Saturday night meal. Other vendors are coming forward. A local dealership donated event bags and another is paying for part of one of the goody bag items. I hope to have a nice sign at check in thanking all that have contributed. Additionally, I have some other items to offer up starting tonight. |

Hey Rick, have you installed them yet? They sure looked good when you put them together at the hotel. Hope you like the looks, performance and sound. After spending 4 days enjoying the 10th anniversary activities I’d like to say thanx to CJ and Bob for all they did and to Dean and Lou (and of course Rick) for donating almost $1800.00 to the cause. Everything was 1st class with lots of freebies and no event fee thanx to vendors like Prowler Pro and Bellanger. |
