I'm able to get a bra for the trailer in time b4 we pick it up next week but wondering if we also need a bra for the KAT. The only reason I'm asking is b/c we are ordering and having it delivered so fast we are unable to get the prowler logo on the bra's. we are 100% getting the trailer bra anyway but I'd rather wait to get the front bra with the logo. Should we wait or will the front get chips , its a 2500 mile drive to edmonton. Stephen This message has been edited by newfieboy on 07-20-2007 at 10:55 AM |

If it was me driving that distance I would want the bra on the car as well. If the bra on the car gets wet take it off immediately or you run the risk of the paint fogging. It does not matter so much on the trailer as once it's on the trailer you will likely never take it off again. JMO |

Between my three cats I have about 59,000 miles on them. I've never had a "mask" (as the company calls them) on any of mine. |

I have one on mine. It has Flames on it. That way I can Prowl with or with out Flames. No issues without it! |

With many miles on the Florida Turnpike and up & down 75 I use the bra all the time. Too much sand and a ton of dirt & rock haulers. Didn't have it on the Mulholland and the nose piece & leading edge of the hood looked very bad after 31,000 miles. JMO |

I live out in the country where there are some rougher roads and some that are still gravel. I found that I needed the bra both on my Kat, and on the trailer. The trailer took the worst beating and has a lot of stone chips because of it. The Kat just accumulated a few stone chips. My take on this exercise is that if you live in the city and only drive the expressways, your KAT doesnt need a BRA but I still recommend you get one for the trailer! |
