Started the day off a little late but it looked like the group was chowing down when we arrived.. Henry came to my house and followed me out and I showed him something about the car he had just bought. Started first on strapping the conv. top down and to put the rag trick were so many of the cars have a wore spot. Then off we went to the Beadery Cafe... The group was all there with another new member Michael and Jessica and gave Henry a Big welcome, and made him and Gabe feel good.. Thanks, Guys!

I've had my car 2 weeks now and not had the top down. Could you tell me the rag trick. I don't have the worn spot and don't want it.

Here is the Trick! The release latch that is located behind the passenger side upper have of the seat is bolted on a raised section of the trunk lid. With the top in the down position some cars will rub(like mine) a spot on the top were the latch bolts to. Easy remedy for this is to use a rag or towel and place it on the top when it's folded in the trunk between it and the raised latch mounting spot. Remember to make sure that you use the restraining straps that the factory put there to hold your top tight in the trunk.. Thanks, onecatnodog

The top can get caught in the latch but it can also rub on the felt that surrounds the latch when the top bounces up and down. That is why you need to strap it down.

This is a picture of our new members... Left to right seated is Michael and Jessica that own the 2001 Black Tie and Henry and Gabriel with the 1999 Black. I did also recruited another new member in a 2001 Orange and his name is Rod.. I invested over 3 hours on the phone through the week and rounded up 6 new members total and I'm not going to stop there. Hard work pays off as the results with the extra cars just makes me smile... onecatnodog

Well now for the surprise! While in Tulsa Susan my wife thought how nice that the Prowler necklace that Mrs. Freeze was wearing that after I paid off the Banner that I tried to send back after saving it, Didn't think that Zack should be out the money as Marc's donation went to the fund set up for the officer in the hospital. Then paying off the credit card for gas that I used to go to and from Tulsa. I picked up this little Cat for my wife... Made her cry! but in a good way... After that I could do no wrong for the rest of the day.... Well that was yesterday... Here is a Picture of me putting it on her... Prowler Princess Susan with onecatdirtydog John...

Since I have shown the other new members this is Rod and his 2001 Orange Prowler... Using the Phone Pays Off as I was able to reach Rod and he changed his plans to do the cruise. Then there was this super nice guy Len in the springs with his 1997 Purple Prowler and wants to help in any way he can to make things work with cruises and for the 2008 Prowler Nationals here in Colorado. He was able to get Wayne with his 2000 Black Prowler to follow him down and they joined us for lunch in Colorado Springs... Also talked to Bobby in the Springs with her 2001 Orange Prowler but she was unable to attend. Thanks Len for your offer to help and will take you up on it. John(onecatnodog)Collins...

John, I like the picture of your one, only and first mod to your car (can you say Air Patrol). How'd it work out?
Sorry I couldn't join you guys for the cruise (the coffee was great though) but after a late night at Cheyenne Frontier Days I needed some rest.
Wanna go to the track next Wednesday?
