Someone during our trip back home from Tulsa peeled off one of my side marker shimmer, it's the second time it happens. Would anyone know how to reach Jay Harris (YELLER CAT) as he is no longer a registered POA member. Thanks, |

Richard I'm sorry to hear of your Shimmer loss. Another great product that is no longer available.  I seem to have heard stories such as this before. Is this common for people to peel off Shimmers and kat emblems? |

In response to the request for Shimmers, I will pass along the info I just received from Nancy Harris, Jay's Wife...What is being sold through The Prowler Store (not the POA Prowler Store) are not "Shimmers". To quote, "Those are definitely NOT Shimmers and are No Comparison whatsoever". If anyone would like to talk directly to Nancy, pm me and she says I can pass along her email address. She would respond to the post herself but she no longer has access to this Site.. |

Shimmers are adhesive backed Plastic and came in many different colors. They were Raised Letter/Image, 3 dimensional. The stickers sold at The Prowler Store are some sort of a metal or stainless decal that is shiny. Hope this helps, Adacus.. |

The stickers that are in our POA store that I make are not the shimmers. The shimmers were very well done, but the stickers/decals that I offer are the flat and not the 3-Dimensional ones. R & J distributing makes some for Vipers... I just ordered chrome for vert. Nice product... I would think if there was interest, maybe they would make some for Prowlers????

I have had R&J make some up for my Vipers and other vehicles. In my opinion, not bad, but not nearly the same as Shimmers either. |

If there would be enough interest in a product like that, I do know of a source that says they can produce that type of item. I would have to check with them again. |

Here was my reply from them... "Hi there...sorry, we do not make anything for the prolwers due to not enough market for it...plus all our product is NOT 100% same as OEM due to copyright, so even if we make it, it will not fit what you guys needs....sorry"

It's a shame that Yeller Cat gave up the business, "retired up north" and then fell off the face of the earth. He did an excellent job manufacturing them, and also made a top notch CNC machined upper frame rail support brace! I was getting addicted to the shimmers just when "Katrina" did his business in. ------------------ |

I just got a reply from the them, here is what they said unfortunately: Hi there, since all the logos are resessed into the bumper, so that means we will have to make it 100% exact same as the inmprint, but due to copyright law, we are not allow to make the exact same logo, so at this moment, we can't do anything for your guys...sorry Country: Netherlands Message: Hello, through our POA site I looked at your exterior logos and would be very interested if you would consider making Plymouth Prowler logos that would fit the rear bumper imprints.
