The car is finally cleaned, the around the house chores are done. Off work for the weekend so it's time to post... THE REST, OF THE TULSA STORY. I promised Grant not to post anything on the Route 66 Cruise till Friday that the Colorado Prowlers did with a few guests when in Tulsa as it was a blast and he is working on something special. So look for it! GET ER DONE GRANT... I will start with Carter and Debbie showing up at my house early Thursday to load his trailer with stuff for the Tulsa event. |

I left Debbie, Carter and Susan to finish loading, while I walked down the street to the other house to get the Black Prowler. Super dark out so the pictures weren't that good. |

I'm not so lucky, as here is a picture of mine in the for front as I had already got fuel and pulled of to the side. All Kidding a side thanks Carter for taking your trailer and we will get her fix.. Thanks Guys! |

If the car had a bigger tank my wife Susan would be in a wet kind of trouble.. Like Clock Work! Susan full, car empty. Car full, Susan empty... Every stop people were checking out the cars and asking questions..JUST LIKE ALWAYS! This message has been edited by onecatnodog on 06-24-2007 at 06:30 PM |

Started to get hungry after using up the energy that was in a McDonalds Breakfast that we picked up on a fuel stop. The Talk was lets stop and eat... I kept to my name, NO DOGS... but they did look good. Then I was told that we were going to OLD CHICAGO to eat.. I said Great, that's were I was from, around Chicago. But what happened to going to Tulsa... Yak Yak Yak.. Hay MOE... No dogs are as cool as our Prowler Mascott Jack The Wonder Dog This message has been edited by onecatnodog on 06-24-2007 at 07:07 PM |

Nothing like sitting down with friends and having lunch. My Group is the BEST.. Susan and I had to stay and wash dishes as none of us had money.. But caught them later......NOT..... The waitress made off with a big tip as she gave us toll road advice... onecatnodog This message has been edited by onecatnodog on 06-24-2007 at 07:22 PM |

Cars lined up ready to go on our toll road adventure with Grant still leading us with our two way radios to be know as "Capt. Compass". He was truly amazing there and back and we all arrived safe and sound with his skills. Great Job Capt. Compass aka Grant Sutton... We would all jockey our cars to follow right behind him as none of the baby ducks wanted to be left behind... |

I had to wake her as we were crossing this Bridge with water on both sides and I thought I saw a turtle on the highway... What a site, WATER and plenty of it... Wonder how it got there... Well I found out, IT RAINS! Just about every day and not just a little.. She had never seen anything so green before.. Susan has never been East of Colorado until this trip.. She thought it was the Garden of Eden.. You could't even see through the trees they were so thick.. Me being from Illinois and not being back for over 10 years knew what she was talking about (That's a first). This message has been edited by onecatnodog on 06-24-2007 at 11:53 PM |

Well we made it with Grant leading the way, taking a lot of stress off of the rest of the Colorado Pack. Taking turns, with each of us leaving or signals on at one time or another. Along with some one having there flashers on (I won't say who) and having the bright lights on.. You know who you are, I'm not telling... Checking into our rooms... Finally...YEA.. Dusti's video tells it all, "WE MADE IT" aka loud mouth onecatnodog... |

B.B.Q Delight... Yea BABY! Grant took care of David so he had a room, one of our extras and David and 01 Prowler took care of us along with the others with a feast like he said he would. Lots of Prowler People, my First Event! Susan my wife said I was in my own little world. What a world it is to be in! Thanks for treating the Colorado Prowler Club so good as I will remember it the rest of my life... As will the rest of the Gang. |
