Now that the Viper and the 2+2 are sold, I have been spending more time with the Prowler. Just turned 9000 miles. So that's about 1600 miles per year and I know I put 3200 on the first year (2002).

I took it for a 20 mile cruise Sunday AM - Highway and twisty back roads. I had forgotten just how nice a car they are to drive. Good response, great sound out of the Borla, nice Radio with the Auto Volume, Seats fit me wonderfully and just a fun, really pleasant car to Drive. I had forgotten......

I've got 26K miles on mine and it's STILL as exciting to get in, buckle up and fire it up as it was the first time I drove it....

There's just something about a Prowler....

Understanding that they are different cars with different purposes...which do you prefer? The Kat or the Snake?

Tough question.....

They are totally different cars as you state. The SRT-10 (RT/10 too - I have owned both and love them both) is some more car and just an absolute kick to drive. Just a bit of a tap on the Gas pedal in any gear brings a huge smile to my face with the Viper. It is just unreal. If you have not driven one, do it. Just be careful and smart as it truly is like nothing else....

But to answer your question.... If I could only have ONE CAR and it was me, I would probably chose a Viper (Don't kill me). I love to shift. And there is something about the power of course. But I have lot's of sentimental value in my Prowler, and I put it to the family vote on the four cars I own(ed) and the Prowler is still in the Garage. Kids and Wife love it - my son calls it the "Ipod of cars" with the Air Patrol, Weekender, Trailer etc to hook up to it. I grin just from looking at the Prowler more than any other car, including the Viper. It is just such a cool design. The Prowler is the one car I am keeping for sure. If I sell the Firebird I will get another Viper......I really really miss it.

My two cents,

John
